Nap Time, what is it with this weekend, it must be the weather or something, (it's been this misty like rain falling for the past two days)because I've taken a nap both today and yesterday and I never do that! I stretched out on the bed a couple hours ago, and was thinking to myself "man, the bed is feeling really good today", and with that thought, I was out like a light for about an hour...lol!

Yesterday, we spent the morning and first part of the day, riding around and visiting houses for sale in the adjacent county. I really like a couple of them. However, I cannot make a move on anything yet untill I first put mine up for sale (which should be in about a month). Once that process starts, then it's all a matter of time, and then we will be moving.

We are getting ready to head to to Bertuccis (to get a brick oven pizza; oh yes...) in about an hour or so and then after that just come home and relax for the evening. Tomorrow I will be running my grandfather to 3 doctors appointments and then one for myself later on in the afternoon. So, I guess I'll see yu all tomorrow sometime.. Ta-Ta for now!!!

Hello everyone. Crazy Sunday yesterday! We spend some time in the tornado shelter with the sirens going off around us, but we were never in any real danger. The town my grandparents live in, Shawnee, was hit fairly hard in places but they are okay (the neighborhood behind them took a direct hit and one fellow was killed). The storms stayed south, east, and north of us, and we were in the middle zone that didn't have any tornadoes, thankfully! Just hail, strong winds, and crazy rain.

What's strange is the night before all these storms hit, my wife and I found our VHS tape of the footage I took after a massive tornado we had back in 1999. We watched that Saturday and showed the kids.

my van sounds worse than a rusty bed spring on the drivers side front! Our resident mechanic says the rubber mount needs greasing, so I am praying he is right. My brother is going to look at it and do some work on the van tomorrow.

I just read about them this morning. I, too, hope Ryan and his family are safe!

wow, scary stuff, so glad you are all safe.
I listened to some of this on CNN, pretty bad in some areas.
We live in an area where tornado's come too, the last few years there have been more and stronger ones.

Wow, that sounds like it was a close call for your grandparents - I'm so glad you and your family are okay! My prayers are going out to the family and friends of the fellow who was killed and to all those affected by the tornadoes.

A very Happy Monday to you!!! I love Mondays - so many good things happen on this day. Already I was hugged by my cat, picked out a new book to read, and, best of all, found a Christmas ornament on my desk as I was clearing it off. I just know the rest of the day will only get better - but, seriously, it will be hard to top the hug!!

I read there could be some horrible storms today - please be safe, everyone! We could get some thunderstorms later this afternoon - my garden needs watering so I am hoping for a nice soaking rain.

A very Happy Monday to you!!! I love Mondays - so many good things happen on this day. Already I was hugged by my cat, picked out a new book to read, and, best of all, found a Christmas ornament on my desk as I was clearing it off. I just know the rest of the day will only get better - but, seriously, it will be hard to top the hug!!

I read there could be some horrible storms today - please be safe, everyone! We could get some thunderstorms later this afternoon - my garden needs watering so I am hoping for a nice soaking rain.
