I love music, but can you believe I have only been to one concert my whole life. It was the Straight No Chaser concert in spring 2010, it was great, it was an anniversary gift of going out for a date with my wife.

We finally picked out a name. I just hope those who have watched Frazier don't confuse her personality with the personality of Maris on that show. Our little Maris is the complete opposite of her, very sweet, lovable, playful and amazing!

Good morning, everyone! How are you all on this fine morning? I am well, just very tired. I was up until a 12:30 or so on here, then fell asleep around 1:00 or so. DS got me up around 1:30. It was a nightmare of a night, like the night before...

Anyway, I think I got 2 hours of sleep or so. EA got up around 6:30. DH just got home around 7, so I am wide awake now. They are both laying in the bed here with me. We're trying to not make too much noise, so DS can sleep. I am going to need a strong cup of coffee!

What are everyone's plans for today? DH said there is a old steam engine coming through town today, so he is going to take the kids up to see it. By that time, I may be laying down for a nap...haha. It's around 9 or 10, so I may be pretty sleepy by that time this morning. Other than that, I'm not sure what we will get ourselves in to.

It has been "fally" around here. I burned my Pumpkin Spice candle yesterday, and it smelled heavenly around here!

It reminds me of a fall day right now.. nice chill in the air, breeze.. love it!! We have to go to 2 places today for cookouts and I am not looking forward to running around... would rather relax but I guess it's a good problem to have!

We were by our Hobby Lobby yesterday and Dr. Wifey wanted to go in and see, but we decided to wait. We usually go right after the 4th.

This time of year, from Memorial Day through July Fourth, I like to go into the craft stores to see all the stars-and-stripes things! That really says "summer" to me, since the big event in my hometown was the parade, firemen's carnival, and fireworks during the week of July Fourth. And seeing all the red, white, and blue around Memorial Day meant school would soon be out for the summer!

I saw You guys were talking about concerts....I have been to see Janet Jackson twice, the Backstreet Boys twice, Marilyn Manson once and Xavier Naidoo (German soul singer) twice....I love concerts...it´s just so so so expensive

We're having lunch with a friend today, then we need to get some errands done. Didn't do much yesterday ... had our indoor picnic in the afternoon. Broiled hot dogs on toasted buns, baked beans, tomato soup, and potato chips while watching the Red Sox on TV. Later in the evening I turned on the Roku (streaming video player) and we browsed through some 1950s commercials and game shows on Archive.org. We finished the evening with a Guy Lombardo New Year's Eve show from 1957/58! Hope your weekend is fun and relaxing!

Hello everyone!
It is going to be a little bit warmer today than yesterday. It will be cloudy with a high of 60 degrees.
Today we have a graduation party to go to for my nephew. This is the first of several graduation parties we have this year. So many of the kids in our family are at the point where they are either graduating high school or college. Its going to be a busy summer for us. But its a good busy!
The party is a brunch so it should end by early afternoon. My husband plans on working in the house afterward. My two oldest have to go in to work for a few hours later this afternoon. My youngest is off today. I may take a ride to the mall with her, she has something she needs to return.
I hope everyone has a happy Sunday!!!

Here's the recipe for one of the strawberry thingies. I will also post this in the recipe section later today.

Strawberry Mallo Cheesecake Squares​

40 Vanilla Wafers, finely crushed 2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
¼ C (1/2 stick) butter, melted 1 T lemon juice
1 8-oz. bag Strawberry Marshmallows 2 C thawed Cool-Whip
1 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup, undrained, but in half

Mix wafer crumbs with butter; press into bottom of 13 X 9-in. pan; set aside. Put marshmallows and strawberries in microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes or until puffed, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until well-blended; set aside. Beat cream cheese and lemon juice in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium until well-blended. Add marshmallow mixture and mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping. Pour over crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares to serve. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

I just wanted to share a video with You guys.....the little cat´s name is Justin....and a monster of the human breed just set this little 4-5 weeks old kitten on fire....someone found him and he was saved....as You can see....the wounds are still terrible....but he is recovering very, very greatly and with his growing fanbase...he will have a loving home one....
