Still rumbling a bit out here, but the severe stuff has passed. LC was scared and came out of his room, wanting us to put our hands over his ears. I just got him to go back to his room by giving him a stuffed Santa Claus and turning on the Christmas lights in his room. It got here and the wind picked up and was blowing the rain in the window, I was sitting about 9 feet away and was getting hit with rain. When I told my wife about the severe t-storm warning, a train was going through town with the horn blowing, she was all freaked out thinking it was a tornado siren, it was the first time I have seen her like that since the tornado 2 years ago. We also don't have tornado sirens up here, I did sign us up for Code Red warnings though to call our home and cell phones when severe weather threatens.

I should probably head to bed, back to work in the morning.

Good Morning Christmas Nuts!!!!!! I hope all of You got through those storms unscratched and have a beautiful Thursday........My state here has a holiday today.....most southern states of Germany have a holiday, today....cos there are many catholics and it´s a catholic holiday.....the states that have less catholics....gotta work......hahaha......I´m not catholic....we are lutherans or however I love it to have a day off

Morning all!! Hope everyone who is experiencing storms are ok!!

Its the school half term holidays this week so got the girls at home! so far we have been swimming, been to the park and called to a friends house!!

Hoping the weather brightens up abit here, really want to get my gardens done! cant quite believe we are nearly in june! this year is flying by! (sure I said the same thing last year aswell!!) only a couple more month until i start looking for what gifts to buy the girls and start writing lists hehe!!

why wait to start the lists? they can still be changed....but writing down some ideas is never a bad thing....and it gets u in the christmas mood!!!!

I started to write a list for my girls. But now that they are older I can't really start buying gifts too early, in case they want to return something. It was a lot easier when they were younger. But I do pick up small things here and there when I see something. Every little bit helps!

Hello everyone.
I'm having my coffee and watching the news. The girls will be up and going soon. It will be sunny, warm and humid today, with a high of 85. I am going to walk the dogs early before it gets too warm. I don't have a lot planned, typical day of errands and chores. I may run out to pick up some more flowers to plant, I'll see how hot and humid it is later. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Almost hot yesterday as the humidity is slowly starting to climb.
Our temps are still below 90 but starting to build toward that level.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here again today. Thankfully rain will arrive tonight and start to cool it off. Not much on my agenda for today.
