The ducks have still been stopping by every day. My husband isn't too happy about it. I picked up a couple of tubes to throw in the pool, I still need to blow them up. I read that the ducks may not land in the pool if they see the tubes floating around. We'll see what happens.

I didn't think that I would like it, just because it was not Disney... But was I ever so wrong! Now, of course, it's not Disney, but it has so much to see and do, I just loved it. This will be our second trip there...

If the oppourtunity ever presents itself to you, I would highly recommend to go to them all and also a place there called gatorland; you would love it! Oh, and try the gator bites, taste just like chicken~:-D

Oh man if you ever decide to go there, you wouldn't want to leave. There is soooo much to see and do there that I would highly recommend that you stay there at least 10 days because 5 days is way tooooo short, that you would end up running yourself ragged trying to do everything and then you would not be able to relax and enjoy yourself....

We are now starting to plan on a trip back to Disney for either this Christmas Holiday schedule or the next year... It will be a 5th trip there! I'm already putting the bling in the bank for that trip which I plan to stay a full 2 weeks....

Happy Thursday afternoon all. Temps are getting too hot here. We are looking at a high of 82 the next couple to days before it cools slightly back to upper 70s Sunday.

We are having a problem with a neighbor. A young bear has come up on our porch the last couple of nights. There is no animal control in our county and I don't want to kill it. I fired a shotgun out the window to scare it off. We are making sure the bird feeders and pet food containers are empty at night. Hopefully he will leave or I guess we will be eating bear meat. They can be dangerous when they lose their fear of people.

oh no,....I hope the bear will find more food in the wood and stop coming to village.....of course I understand that You have to defend Yourselves....still...Wildlife is so precious...it would horrible, if he would have to get shot

In all the years I've been going up there, I've only seen a couple bears. I saw one at Newfound Gap, and a couple cubs crossing the road near Maggie Valley. Be careful!

Hope the bear moves on. I bet he is beautiful, but I know they can be dangerous as well.

I used to look on the side of my bus for a sign that said "hit this bus win a prize!" seemed people were always taking risks when close to buses, as if we were able to get out of the way fast.

My brother turned his pool into a salt water one and has never had a problem again with it. I like swimming in there better than the chlorine.

they guy who collects rent here lost the money order for this months rent and is blaming me for it! I gave him a photo copy of the receipt and his reply was that it did not mean he deposited it because he did not write it in his deposit book! AHHHH!! Now he is accusing me of being behind on my rent while at the same time saying he will not know until the 15th when the bank statement comes back.
I sent him a note to come and see me then and I will at that time go to the bank and have them do a check on what happened to it.
I am so glad I am going on vacation!

Disney is such a magical place, I know what you mean. My brother has been to Universal and he loved it, he can't wait to go back!

We don't put anything over the pool during the day. We have had ducks in the pool before, but these two keep coming back. At least I think its the same two cheesy
