Joseph Tyler is doing very well and I got to spend a couple of hours cuddling with him yesterday while my daughter rested and my son-in-law was out strolling Jack. It was heaven!

Please pray for my sister, she has a badly infected cyst on her finger and is currently at emergency for the 2nd time in two days as it is not healing and is badly swollen and sore. If it does not heal up they are talking about removing the top half of her finger.

Here is our dessert for tonight:

Strawberry-Mallo Cheesecake Squares​

40 Vanilla Wafers, finely crushed
¼ C (½ stick) butter, melted
1 8-oz. bag strawberry marshmallows
1 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup, undrained, cut in halves
2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 T. lemon juice
2 C. thawed Cool-Whip

Mix wafer crumbs with butter; press into bottom of 13 X 9-in. pan. Put marshmallows and strawberries in microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes or until puffed, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until well-blended; set aside. Beat cream cheese and lemon juice in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well-blended. Add marshmallow mixture and mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping. Pour over crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares to serve. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

Sounds delicious!!

I just made these and will be sipping them later. So easy and tasty! These can be stored in the freezer since they don't really freeze completely. They are like "adult" ices.

Easy Margaritas​

1 can frozen limeade
3 cans (use limeade can) water
1 can tequila
1/2 can triple sec

Mix altogether in a freezer container. Freeze until slushy or semi-firm. Scoop into glass and enjoy. I use my ice cream scoop.​

arrived safe and sound but late at my sisters place. Had a bit of van trouble when my transmission sprung a leak.Some recommended leak stop fixed that right up and we finally arrived here at 9:30 pm, tired and hot.
Had a shower, a good sleep and good as new this morning.
This is a view we found at smugglers notch this morning..

Dinner was so good! I am going to finish my second slushy margarita, put on jammies, and watch TV the rest of the evening. I am going to the doctor tomorrow morning, come home and finish the last load of laundry, and get ready to go out of town again on Tuesday. TTYT. Have a great rest-of-the-evening. Whew! Talk about panic...I was stressed about not being able to get on here! I don't think I have been able to get here since Tuesday or Wednesday. It was actually a blessing in disguise. To get my Christmas fix, I had to revert to my ways before I found MMC. Let me tell you, I didn't realize how much I truly enjoyed this place until I couldn't get here. I take a lot of things for granted and our space is one of them!

If I missed anything in the past few days, I'm sorry. I hope everyone is great! Good to be back!
