Love the siggie! I, too, am calling it a night. I want to read some before lights out.

Praying traveling mercies for you CS, and anyone else who has to be on the road.

Merry Carey, I was going to read the book straight through (I still am), but I was momentarily sidetracked by Chapter 7, the one about W.C. Fields. So, I had to read that first and will read from the very beginning this weekend. I really enjoy the personal insights--very human!

Goodnight, friends!!

Hi everyone!

Brad messaged me and encouraged me to drop in. As I said before, there is not much downtime at my current job. It is busy! Plus, we are not allowed to do much on the computer. This, coupled with the fact that I have been busy with the gym, rehab, doctor's appointments and practices, has limited my abilities to check in here. I apologize for this. I miss it here. As I told Brad, I couldn't stop thinking about Christmas all day. I miss the music. The good times. I hope everyone here is doing great. You all deserve the best.

Nice to see you!

Can't sleep again tonight. Fun.

Glad that you're finding the book interesting, too!

Showery most of the day, but a fun time was had by all. Lunch at KFC, dessert at Baskin-Robbins, and two lovely cats who each sat in my lap for a while. It's good to be on vacation. More tomorrow from Hilo.

Cant sleep so I am up watching the Food Network. I started watching that a few months back and now I am hooked on a few shows on that Network. I have learned how to cook a lot better too! After James as born last November I really started cooking all the meals and it has worked out really good. I feel like I can contribute better that way. Now that B. is taking a semester or 2 off work I don't know if I will still cook dinner or not but probably so because I actually enjoy it. Especially the Grilling and Smoking!!

Well we are finally set up in our place. We are renting until we find something we really like and can afford. This place is nice too. Its very close to my job so not much traffic to deal with. Its funny now that I could retire any day now its all I think about. And I also think about what I was doing this time 20 years ago. I was a scared little boy 20 years ago that is for sure. Anyway the weather here is beautiful and it already feel like Autumn to me!! in the morning I am tempted to put on the heater! That tells me one thing. this actual winter I am going to be dressed like an Eskimo when I go outdoors I am just not use to cold like will be coming. Anyways I am getting sleepy now. Goodnight buddies!

Good morning.
We are expecting gusty winds and heavy rain today thanks to Andrea.
I woke up with a headache this morning. I think I am going to go back to bed for a little bit after the girls and my husband are off to school and work. Thankfully, I don't have to be anywhere today.
Still debating this part time job. Its amazing how much my routine and schedule here at home are thrown off by me not being here for a few hours during the day. I'm finding it to be stressful, not sure if I'm ready to work.
I hope everyone has a happy Friday!

A wet Good Morning from central NC, as tropical storm Andrea has started her march across the Carolinas,
putting a crimp in my plans to get outdoor work done at the cottage.
Will try again next weekend (my last chance!)

In the meantime, the count is hereby presented for your informative entertainment:
Days to the Season: 159
Days to Christmas Day: 201
TOMORROW, Guys!
The 200-day Christmas Day marker!
Milestone #9!
Be here!!
(It's being catered by Carl.)

Lots of rain yesterday and last night with cooler temps.
A repeat for today as "Andrea" passes by to our east.
Currently, we record 69 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Fantastically Fabulous Friday, Friends.
(It's Weekend Eve, you know!)

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 74. Not much going on today. I just need to run to the grocery store and to the post office. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Well we are getting the kids ready and are going to drive out for some sight seeing in Salt Lake City. It feels so good to live in a big metro area again. I miss Valdosta some it was not really a tiny town it was just a college and military town with a few thousand local old timers there that ran the city...One thing for sure though I will miss going to my Ga Bulldog games!!! I can still see them though on ESPN. I also forgot to tell everyone that the dogs made the move fine too..at first they paced around the house for a few hours sniffing around but the last day or two they are acting more calm. Well I better get to moving. Have a great morning everyone!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy's birthday went fine. Elizabeth helped me find a good, last-minute present for Nancy, so I'm not in the dog house. We had a low country boil for her birthday dinner last night. There were so many crab legs, we even had some leftover. That's saying a lot when there are guys like me, Jacob, Bernie and my BIL at the table!

Tomorrow evening is my mom's surprise 70th birthday party, and it should be a blast! I'm pretty sure she doesn't know anything about it...I love a good surprise!

I'm still getting phone calls from long lost cousins who've heard about it, and were concerned that their invitations were lost in the mail. Sure, come on. What else can I say? I'm already cooking burgers for a planned 100 people, now the total is approaching 140. Oh well. Mom will love it!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

With all this crazy weather around, has anyone heard from Track?

I think the last time she was here her and her family were getting ready to evacuate due to flooding.

I hope all is well with her.

Good morning, Xmas!

I chatted with track on Facebook earlier this week, and she, Kandice and Stripey are doing fine. They were staying with her mom because of the flooding. As of then, the water wasn't getting into their apartment, so I was relieved to hear that.
