Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good Morning MMC!!!! We are going to start warming up today and it looks like we will see 90 degree temps as early as wednesday. Ugh!! I miss my 60's!!! Not much on the agenda for today. I just have some laundry to do and I need to scrub the kitchen. I have a feeling my buddy may stop by to complain for awhile too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Jude wants to make a Lego nativity scene today (we were looking at my Christmas pinboard!) and I'm thinking of starting a pinecone garland. I've wanted to make one for some time so maybe I just will! Feeling Christmasy!

Good morning!
Today is the last full day of school for the girls. My middle daughter will also be going to the "senior bbq". It is a tradition at our high school for the graduating class to have a barbecue in the senior parking lot on the last day of school. Its nice that the school allows them to do that. We are expecting rain later today, hope it holds off for the kids to enjoy their day. Tomorrow final exams begin.
Typical day for me. I started my chores and have a couple of errands to run.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Mom's birthday party Saturday night was a great success! We had about 80 people, and they were all able to keep the secret, so she was super surprised when she arrived. My brother has a 1930 Model A Ford that he stores at his shop, and he picked her up at home in it. We told her we were all just going out to eat for her birthday, but he brought her out to the masonic lodge where the party was setup, and she started crying. LOL

We finished up around 11pm, and I was beat from jousting with the huge charcoal grill. I cooked 120 hamburgers and 140 hotdogs. Whew! But it was a blast.

I spend most of the day yesterday cleaning up the lodge and returning everything we had borrowed for the party. It was fun, but now I'm glad it's behind us.

This week, we have Vacation Bible School, so I have to get back to work.

Hello everyone. Sadly, vacation has come to an end.

I spend last evening applying for various jobs online. I really hope I hear back from some of them. I am blessed to have a job now, but I know this is not what I want to do career wise, and I am ready to move on and find my career.

How is everyone doing? I downloaded a Halloween countdown app yesterday and it got me excited! I always start the Christmas season November 1. I know we have a long summer to get through, but the fall will be here before we know it! :???:
Speaking of a long summer...highs may hit 100 this week here in Oklahoma! They will at least be high 90s.

Adrian went to Michael's yesterday, and I had him ask when their Autumn decor would be out, and they said that they already have a small section going, but that it should all be out in a month...Yippee!!

And you can make a countdown for any event here! They have default pics, or you can upload one from your camera roll. That's what I did.

I saved a favorite pic from that to my camera roll & voila!
