Good evening!
It seems that lately I haven't had as much time to spend here as I would like. This has been such a busy month. We have been to two graduation parties so far and we have three more to go. My husband and daughter will both be celebrating their birthdays soon. I'm also planning a barbecue for Fathers Day. The school year for the girls is coming to an end. We have another week of final exams and then there will be my daughters prom and high school graduation. We are excited and looking forward to it all, it's a good kind of busy!
I have decided to not accept the job offer at the doctors office. The job was only supposed to be a few hours in the morning, two days a week. I was already asked if I would be able to be more flexible and work afternoon/evening shifts and fill in for people when needed. Maybe someday I will be able to do something like that but I'm not ready yet. It's no wonder my username is HomemakinGirl. But I am happy I tried it, now I know.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!

It was a long day at work, like usual. JP's baseball game was rained out. My bro in law came over to hang out. I am thankful for my day off tomorrow. My big plan is to get a haircut, I once again look like a Q-Tip.

Another damp one yesterday with more rain.
We did get some sun between raindrops, however, and all in all it wouldn't have been too bad were it not for the extremely high humidity. Felt like the middle of summer in that regard!
Right now, we have started off at 69 degrees and I'm hoping for a drier day.

It was great. I think I am really going to like it! It is about 100% more laid back than at Valdosta,Ga! It's a smaller base so maybe that has something to do with it. But the people seem very cool. Thanks for asking!
Good morning everyone! We are inching into mid June the summer is rolling right along. I just bought my live internet feeds for Big Brother 15 which starts June 26th. I wait all year for that to start,It one of just a handful of reality shows I like to watch,I don't know how much I will be able to watch but I figure if I am up at night with the boys I can get online and watch to ssee what is happening inside the Big Brother house. Brandi likes to watch Survivor and I try to get into that but I always am too tired out from BB at the end of the summer. I am going to try to get into all of the reality shows that come on in the fall this year.Anyhow not much more going on here today,so I better get started I hope everyone has a great day!
Guys! Our friends from MA are staying with us in July and I just realized - it's QVC Christmas in July weekend! How can I sit on my couch with the a/c cranked and Christmas music playing now??? I don't think they'll think that's a really good time! Oh noooooooooo!
