Here too! Problem is - so did the weeds!!!!!!
I think you should definitely keep them crochet magazines!!!

Weeds are growing abundantly, too - I pull a handful or two every time I go out to look. I have to be very careful as there are wild tomatoes coming up now. cheesy

We had a great weekend at the lake! Weather was great - warm, not hot. Chilly nights = awesome bonfires.

Saturday a horrible thing happened - I took pictures for the Siren Sounder 5k - I took a great picture of 3 (guy) friends walking together - the fire truck was right behind them since they were the last of the walkers. I got the picture, they were all smiling/laughing & about 5 minutes later, 1 of the 3 guys had a heart attack & died. So horrible! He just lost his wife April 25 to cancer - they have 4 kids, the youngest is going to be a senior in high school. Just too sad!!!

Oh, my, that is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends!

Hey gang...just signed in, but it's almost my bedtime...babysitting for the newborn tomorrow so I need my wits! LOL!
It's quiet, but that's okay as long as all my Christmas friends are healthy and happy and dreaming of Christmas in July!
Speaking of...I found an adorable little vintage Christmas plate at a rummage sale this past weekend. It will be perfect somewhere in the grand plan!

Good morning, friends!!

How are you today?

I am well. But, it's already sticky outside. Boo! It's partly cloudy, with a high of 79 degrees. Time to draw the shades & get the fans going.

What does your day look like?

I still need to take Har for her morning stroll, and do some more studying.

We are going to LaCrosse for Father's Day weekend, this Saturday, and taking Dad out for a nice dinner. The place we go to is about 30 miles away, in a small town. This supper club is amazing! And a family favorite. The salad bar itself is a meal =]

Good afternoon,

I had a busy morning today, after dropping the boys off, I did my every other week trip to the Goodwill Shop, it was a pretty weak selection of Christmas merchandise. Got my haircut, and my head feels 7 pounds lighter. Then ran some odds and ends of errands. It is raining so no yard work for me. Now I am relaxing watching "Christmas With The Kranks" I just love this movie.

Got to pick the boys in a little bit.

So busy here. Only 10 days to SUMMER BREAK! (2 months summer vacation)

In July we are sending our oldest to North Carolina for a hole year!
And so much paperwork to do now for his VISA
Have to visit the American ambassady in Oslo ASAP

And we are house hunting!
A bit depressed because there's not much to choose from around here..
We want to live in the city centre, but it hopeless because we need such a big place (with all our kids)

Well, I hope everything works out...... ♥

Im Back!!!... Missed all of You guys.....My apartment was one of the few that have been flloded in my hometown.....Compared to the East and South of Germany...our flood was nothing....still I had to throw away the big wardrobe in the bedroom and four other cupboards....and it seems we got to throw away the big one in the living room as well.......im trying to see it positive....that way i get rid off a lot of junk, too.....

Well, that was a very fast vacation... Was I actually there??? That seemed like one of the most shortest trips that I have ever made, the time flew by so quickly, It's so true that time flys by when your having fun...

Well, here I am back at the old grind stone, dosen't seem like I missed very much here either, things are a little slow at work right now. I'll be home for about a week then we fly out to San Antonio, Texas for 3 days to see our son graduate from the Air Force bootcamp.

Oh I forgot to mention this before, but while I was in Universal studios, I was approached by someone working there and I was asked if I would spend 60 minutes of my time and watch a pilot TV program (in the AC) and give them my opinion of it and they would pay me $20.00. I said sure... So, I got to watch a pilot TV show of Bear Grylls new show called "Bear Grylls -Ultimate Survivors,"! I thought it was pretty good, it's sort of a mix/ combination of Man vs. Wild and Survivor...It's supposed to come out this Fall on the Discovery Channel (I think)...

Well, I'll tell you, it does feel a little good to be back home just to be able to sleep in my own bed for a change. Don't you just miss your own bed when your away???

Those vacation weeks are waaay to short. It's funny, while we were at Universal last year, Nancy was invited to a taste-testing for one of their restaurants. She was supposed to taste a new cheesy biscuit and give her opinion, then they gave her $20, too. LOL
