Snowflake, and all other lovers of Halloween, I found a Halloween themed game that is very addicting called Tripeaks. Don't know if I've shared this already. But, it has me in the mood for fall!

Good morning everyone. So glad its Thursday because we all know that means its almost Friday! Not sure what we're going to do this weekend, but I know it won't in any way resemble work! I do need to mow my great-grandma's yard Saturday morning, but that doesn't take long at all. She's 92 and still very sharp mentally.
I'm thinking there's also an epic water fight in my Satruday plans. I bought some water baloons for my kids and their friends across the street, and they ask me every day to fill 'em up. So, Saturday is supposed to be hot so I think it is time.
Have a good Thursday everyone!
Sounds like the perfect summer weekend...enjoy!

Good morning, MMC!

It is going to be another nice day here. I have more paperwork to do and then I get to make plans for fall/winter displays - fun!

Have a MERRY day!!!
Oh that does sound like fun! I'm looking forward to the Pottery Barn sneak peek online for Fall...usually around the 27th of June.

Hello everyone!
It is going to be beautiful out today. Sunny and dry with a high of 75 degrees. Perfect prom weather. Last year when my oldest went to prom it was ridiculously hot. I felt so bad for the kids, they were melting as we were taking pictures.
So my daughter has her high school graduation rehearsal this morning. Not sure why they do this the same day as prom. Like its not hectic enough! After rehearsal we will be off to have her hair and makeup done. I need to go to the florist to pick up the boutonnière. And I want to stop at the supermarket for a fruit platter and cookies to put out for who ever happens to pop in to see my daughter while we are taking pictures.
I hope everyone has a great day!!!

I hope she has a Great time!!!!!

No kids here but that sounds fun!!!! I wonder if my neighbors will mind if I hide and attack them when they walk by.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a hot one here with a high of 85 degree's and humid. I actually slept last night so I have some energy today. So I need to get in gear and run a few errands. Then it will be back home to do some more cleaning and make a shopping list for the grocery store tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Made, on my FB post yesterday you mentioned you love Vince Flynn's books. Are there any other series you read that you would recommend? I am thinking of trying Brad Thor.
I have read a few of the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child and really liked them, so I might go with a few more of them. But, thought I'd see if you had any suggestions.

Ah, I remember those prom weekends!
Boy they do fly by though and the next thing you know they are off to college, etc.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun prom experience!

The vet found a growth in her lungs. We will find out more after another opinion to see what can be done. As long as she is not in pain, we are going to let her live out her years naturally.

Hoping fervently that no immediate action is needed.

Please remember to share those pics! (And the cookies and fruit, too ...)

Personally, I'm counting down to lunchtime ... it's been a busy morning and I'm hungry! Hoping there'll be time for a walk around the block in the sunshine, too.

I like Brad Thor. I've only read a few of his books so far but he is on my list to buy more of. I also like Steve Berry's Cotton Malone series and David Baldacci's Camel Club series. I haven't gotten into Baldacci's newer stuff as much.

Well my buddy showed up again today, so I haven't gotten any thing done once again. So I better get busy.

Thanks for the tip. I've never read Baldacci or Berry so I'll have to check them out!

Our Baby has a growth in one of her lungs. Our vet is going to get another opinion so we can make an informed decision. It doesn't look good; of course she is almost 17 years old. I am going to rest for a while and will be back later.

Awe! Sending up prayers!
Ugh, they just showed the 7 day forecast on the news and everyday is going to be 85 or above. I guess I better enjoy the 50's tonight because we aren't going to see them again for awhile.

I told the girl I passed walking this morning that we better enjoy this 55º weather today. I think that was the end of the cool mornings!

I think that sounds like a good plan. And I hope she does fine with it!!

Good afternoon everyone! It's heating up out there!! Looking forward to the town festival this weekend, but it's going to be HOT! Last night we got all the burger browned & the onions chopped for chili - the last of the yahoo's (I mean "helpers" -) left around midnight! We had fun. Tonight the Pre-fest party is at our back yard neighbors. I have some cleaning to do b/f I can go over there, but I'm ready!! Our friends pulled their camper into our back yard this afternoon, so bring on the fest!!! I hope you are all having a great day! I'm not sure if I'll get back on here before the fest or not. It's going to get busy once I leave work today!! :) If not - have a GREAT weekend!
