Wow - hot outside! Ran some errands earlier today and stopped into the store to put out some more stuff. It took me longer than I thought it would as I spent a good part of the time talking to customers - that part of my job I love! If I had been a bit quicker, a Jim Shore angel on display at Goodwill would have been mine. Guess it wasn't meant to be. I talked to the lady who snagged it - she was so nice. She gave me all sorts of tips on where to find collectibles in the area and hardwood flooring, too.

I love talking to the customers too!
It is really hot here too, first time...30c (86f) but it say that it feel like 36c (96f)
Hope you can find another great angel soon!
 
I saw boxes of discounted Christmas cards the other day at Staples, did not see any I liked so did not get them. I even forgot to take pictures!

Well it's a bummer that you didn't get the Jim Shore angel but it was nice of her to at least give you some tips!!!!!

Well the real rain finally arrived a couple of hours ago and it was a doozy!!! We got a lot of rain really quick and lots of thunder and lighting!!! I loved it!!! What I didn't love was the power going out twice. At least it was only out 30 minutes the first time and 15 minutes the second.

it is nice when kids find something to be passionate about!

I loves days when I get a lot done around the house, makes me feel good!

I hate when power goes off just long enough to have to reset everything!

The first shower only lasted like 2 minutes. Just long enough to get everything wet. So it was just a tease!!! The second one stalled out over top of us and lasted for almost 3 hours.

It has threatened to rain all day here, lot of rain around us and lots of thunder, some lightening, but we got no rain here.

Tomorrow is her graduation ceremony and her party will be on Sunday. I know the graduation is going to be emotional for me but there are so many good things happening and I am enjoying every minute of it.

Hello all. Been busy and haven't been on today until now, but always thinking of y'all. We had a pretty epic water balloon throw down tonight. My son and his friends thought they were being pretty tough not letting his sister and her friend into their club. The boys went around the side of our house and sat against our wood fence to keep away from the girls. So, I went into the back yard on the other side of that fence, jumped up and scared the daylight out of them and dumped a bucket of water on them. Got 'em good, and they loved it! Pretty good for a summer Saturday night! Y'all have a good night.
