Glad Maggie is doing better. It is in the 100s in the SHADE in the mornings, so you can guess how it feels around here! You are right about holding off on the walking in that heat and humidity. Take care!

Maggie is doing a bit better on the meds. The coughing isn't as frequent or severe but we still have to be careful with her. I have noticed that the coughing will start if she gets too excited or scared. The heat and humidity make it worse too. So unfortunately we will not be walking as much as we usually do over the next couple of months. My air conditioner has been running non stop. Thank you for asking :-D

When I went to the doctor, she prescribed some ear drops that I start tomorrow. It feels awful when sounds sound like you are hearing them underwater!

I have started feeling aweful all of the sudden. Ear is hurting, nose is stopped up, can't stop coughing...could it be a dreaded summer cold?

I know a lot of it has to do with the heat. It's well over 100 right now. Hurry up fall!!!

Goodness, that sounds serious, if chicken-fried steak wasn't appetizing to you. Take care and please keep us posted. I hope some energy (and a good appetite) finds you soon.

I am sure Harlowe will do well with the procedures. Keeping her in my prayers.

Good morning, friends!!

It's a hot & humid day here, in fact it's up to 100% humidity... Talk about a bad hair day!! ;)

They finished our landscaping yesterday, then a storm rolled in 20 minutes later with pouring rain, hail, and high winds....I think they will have to re-do everything..so frustrating.

How are you all?

Can you please keep Harlowe in your prayers? She has to go in to the vet tomorrow morning, and spend most of the day there. She needs shots, a few tests, and her first teeth cleaning. The anesthesia worries me. And she gets so frightened. So if you could pray for my little pumpkin, and maybe one for me, I'd appreciate it.

Hope you have a blessed day!!

xx

That sounds exciting for him, Brad. I am sure he will have a wonderful time in the Spirit!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

My son leaves for Chrysalis this evening. It's a Christian weekend retreat for teenagers that is a precursor to The Walk to Emmaus. We're very proud that he requested to do this, with no prompting. Elizabeth wants to go, too, but she's still too young. Wow, the Lord has blessed us with wonderful children.

I had hoped to go to Jim's shop yesterday, but I had a last-minute bit of work to do on my sign rental business. Meanwhile, my grass is almost 5 inches tall.

I think I'll grill some fish this evening. A guy I work with spends every weekend at the coast, fishing in deep water. He brought us all back some fillets of amberjack, mahi mahi, and a couple other's I'm not familiar with.

It's funny; I don't like deep sea fishing, because all the fish are huge and have teeth, but I like eating salt water fish. I LOVE fishing in a pond, but I don't want to eat pond fish. Of course.

Ok, enough of my ramblings. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Tomorrow my wife is going to the New Kids on the Block concert

My wife tried to get me to go to this concert with her...I was afraid they would pull my "man card" if I went.

This is such a special and exciting time for you and your wife, I'm happy for you. Hope all goes well at the doctor appointment!

It went great. They use this little microphone thing to listen to the heartbeat and while they were listening, she kicked it. It was pretty neat! I got it on video.

You sound so over the moon!! Love it!!
Enjoy the appointment today!!

((Hugs)) to you & the Mrs.!!

I gotta admit, I'm beyond excited. We experienced our fair share of difficulties and I had all but given up....just kinda accepted that it wasn't meant to be. Then, BOOM!

I can't wait to see her! 12 more weeks!!!!

If they didn't, I would have!!!!!

Aww!!! That sounds like a really cool moment.

Thank you, HmG =]

We are home, now. She is pretty out of it, bless her heart. We are going to rest, relax & watch some tv.

I feel for your babies. Jazzie usually has to have a few teeth pulled, too.

xx

I'm happy she is home and can get some rest.
Molly and Maggie are sending big hugs and Happy Birthday wishes!
