one of 3 deer we saw on the way home tonight. My children were appalled when I wished I had a gun so we could fill the freezer. LOL

Happy Canada Day long weekend to my fellow Canadian Christmas friends! It was a lengthly week, but we're finally here. As always, 'Pines Day certainly helped. And Carl made it extra special with the milestone 'Pines Day. You can always count on that camel!

It should be a fun long weekend. Tomorrow evening is a good friend's birthday. There are not much plans for Sunday, but Monday should bring great celebrations. The only unfortunate part is that I have to work on Tuesday... so it appears that I will have to stop the "celebrations" sometime in the afternoon. Oh well! I'm sure it will be good times anyway.

Now, I must return to hanging out with Kim. It's a nice and cool summer night. These don't come too often! Have a great Friday night!

Good evening,

I got home today and proceeded to fall asleep, I am tired from a long day of work. I ended breaking down 7 pallets of merchandise, so after working until 9 last night and going back first thing this morning has done me in. Looking forward to having Sunday off.

Back to the nuthouse at 7am.

wow, what a busy day at work! They gave me my lunch to early which meant I ended up working 3 hours in a row with no break, not even from customers as there was always a line up.But boy did the day ever go by fast!
Now I have the whole long weekend off, so I can relax and enjoy it all.

Good evening!
I can't believe it's Friday night already. My 16 year old finished her first week of drivers Ed. I told her I would let her drive home today when I picked her up. I thought that maybe I would feel more comfortable driving with her after she had a week of lessons. Well I was wrong. Still not comfortable, lol. I don't know how those driving instructors stay so calm. God bless them.
Anyway, the girls are all out right now and my husband is doing some work in the house. He is still working on the radiant heat in the floors. He's hoping to have it finished up by this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, then we will actually be able to start looking at flooring samples. That will make me happy.
Well I am getting sleepy. Time for me go lay down and rest while I wait for the girls to get home.

My girlfriend's son just got his license today, and it made us feel old, LOL. We used to cruise around together when we got ours, many moons ago!!

Hope your hubby gets the radiant heat flooring done this weekend, as scheduled. How exciting!!
