Hello everyone!
It is going to be cloudy with showers today, a high of 80 degrees.
My oldest left for work already and my youngest has drivers ed later this morning. My middle one is off today, she worked double shifts Saturday and Sunday so I'm going to let her sleep in today. And my husband is on vacation this week. He plans on taking advantage of the time off and working on the house. I'm hoping he makes a lot of progress this week. Typical day for me. I have chores and errands to do. We are having a few people of over on the 4th of July so I need to make a menu plan and grocery list. I have been thinking about the dog we found and I kind of miss the little guy. I hope he is happy to be back home.

Terrible news coming out of Arizona. 19 firefighters killed when a forest fire overtook them. Prayers go out to all of their families.

So sad, I've been watching the reports too. Praying for their loved ones & the community.

Well, another day, another drenching rain. Such a familiar sight for me now.. a flooded garden and a creek forming in my neighbor's yard, where no creek lies! It's crazy how hard and fast the rain has been coming lately! The water just lays on the grass and can't be absorbed because it's so, so wet. I can't remember the last time I watered my garden! It's getting TOO much rain and some things have died from all the moisture, eek!

I hope the rain lets up for you soon!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high in the mid 70's. It looks like we may see some scattered rain showers again too. Not much on my agenda today. Just some work on the computer and some laundry to do. I also expect my buddy to show up today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God for holiday weeks!!

Btw, what are your plans for the 4th?

We are heading up north to Adrian's boss's house on the lake for his annual bash. But, it's on the 3rd. My parents & Jazzie are kind enough to come up & stay with Harlowe so we can go. So appreciative about that, especially with all of the fireworks going on already. They make her anxious. We should be home late that night/early Thursday, and then we'll celebrate the 4th with my parents! We got some steaks to grill, and I will also make some cheesy au gratin potatoes, and corn on the cob. I'll be making my taco dip to snack on, as well. Mom is making my favorite Magic Cookie Bars- we aren't going to go hungry

Today, I need to go grocery shopping, and stop at Menards & pick up a few more lawn chairs, and then study.

It's supposed to be sunny & nice today, with a high of 82 degrees.

My husband is off this week and the same thing happens to him. He only has two weeks off each year, the week of July 4th and the week of Christmas. He always gets called in at some point. It stinks!
