Our Baby went in for surgery. The vet found three more growths that turned out to be cancerous. He "woke" her up and she passed out. She still has not revived. It is really hard to type this as she will not be coming home. How hard it is to be the mom and dad of a furchild.

So yesterday when I picked my son up from school, he announced quite casualy that he'd like an owl for his birthday .....LOL As I can't get him a real one , I'm on the hunt for a soft toy look alike.

I have a list of things I want to get done around the house over the next few days. I seem to have little clumps of clutter everywhere in the house and it is driving me crazy. My eldest son's room is so overcrowded with toys and bits, I don't know where to start.

I imagine that you all are very excited and busy planning for tomorrow!

I know!!!! We had a new shop open up here not to long ago and I was one of the first people in line to buy ammo. So I have a small stockpile now. I still won't shoot a lot of my .45 ammo though. It's just to expensive anymore. I'll mainly shoot my .22.

Well, tonight and tomorrow are all set to be fun! My daughter's birthday party is tonight, and she is so excited she can't stand it! Tomorrow will go to the town carnival and then have folks over for a cook-out. Somewhere during this week or during the weekend, I want to sneak out to see the Lone Ranger. It isn't getting very good reviews, but so few Westerns are made these days that I usually watch any that are released.

I've been buying 9mm ammo when I find it, but it's rare. A co-worker called me from Bass Pro Shops in Savannah last weekend. He found 100 round boxes of 9mm for $27! They only let him buy two...one for him and one for me. I hate to keep stockpiling, but like you said, it's too hard to find these days.

We actually had a cool front come in the past few days with highs only in the upper 80's. Very nice for our area!!! We were actually able to go outside in the mornings for bike rides without dying from the heat. Usually we can't even do that in the summer even at 7 am because it's way too hot. For tomorrows forecast they predict it will be 85 degrees by the time fireworks start (9-9:30 pm), getting back to hot days again!

I am not sure what all we plan to do tomorrow for the 4th. We are closed at work but Wayne and I will go in to feed the animals.

It's very to even find .22! I have several boxes (the 550 bulk packs) stashed away but I don't want to use them if I can't replace them!
