Well I just took a pretty good fall on to my dining room floor. I tripped over one of my husbands levels. I feel stupid for not seeing it but there is so much crap all over the place in here, I just didn't notice it. My knee is so swollen. Ugh. I have it iced and elevated. I'm really sick of the work going on in this house. I know you all are probably tired of hearing me complain. I'm sorry, I just need to vent sometimes. It is frustrating. I'm going to try and take a nap for a little while. Maybe the knee will look better later. I can't remember the last time I hurt myself!

I hope your knee is feeling better.

Good morning all. Well, I was supposed to be off work tomorrow but just got word I'm going to need to come in. That's alright. Tomorrow is, however, our 10th anniversary. My wife has put up with me for a whole decade! For that, she deserves a medal (and one for just being an all around wonderful wife and mother! cheesy).

Since I thought I had tomorrow off I was planning on taking my son to see the Lone Ranger (my daughter has denounced it as a "boy movie" and refuses to watch). Even though I have to be up early tomorrow, I think I'll still take him.

Hope y'all have a great day! And hope none of you are too tired from any antics that may or may not have gone on last night at Carl's place.

Happy Anniversary! Enjoy your day tomorrow!

A party? Could it be...is Carl going to open up the Pines this weekend for a special gathering? I think Snowflake deserves it! I bet that crazy camel can come up with a pretty fun and wild shindig in Snowflake's honor!

It was scary when I walked in early yesterday and Carl was leading a Prancercise class. You haven't lived until you have seen a camel leading Prancercise. cheesy

Good evening,

Another long day at work, I just can't seem to get everything done without my best employee around, I can't leave on time, can't get everything accomplished.
I caught a little of Christmas With The Kranks a little earlier, I just can never to seem to get into the Hallmark movies though, I try and try to watch them to no avail. The weather will finally dry out a bit tomorrow, the humidity will finally be gone so it won't feel like we are walking in soup for a few days.

I hope you all are enjoying your evening.

Hope you feel better - do keep it elevated, iced, and take a Motrin (Ibuprofen) to help with the swelling as well.

Congrats, Snowflake! I'm so proud of you! :treeguy:

Off to work! Talk to you guys tomorrow.

Stopping in for a quick hello!

It's been a busy week. My mom and her husband left for Montreal on Tuesday morning. It was great having them around for about five days. Kim and I are hoping to travel to the Sault mid-September. It's always good to go home at least once per year (other than Christmas).

And now, I am happy that we're only one day away from the weekend. Hooray! As most of you know, I have been dealing with a serious knee injury for about a year now. Well, I've started practicing as of late and this weekend will be my first time returning to the field. As usual, it is a two day tournament. I plan to help out and play for only one day, but if all goes well, I might be able to play both days... I just don't know if I can handle playing 7 or 8 games. It's going to be a lot of running! We shall see... Either way, I am excited to return!

The count continues to decrease and I hope that you're all excited for Hallmark's unveiling of the 2013 Keepsake Ornaments on Saturday. If I weren't away at a tournament, I would be there - first thing! Unfortunately, I will have to wait. Perhaps early next week! Such an exciting time!!

Well, I should go... It is nearing bed time. Have a great night, everyone!
