Glad to hear that it's not broken!!

My mom lived in one of those for 3 months after her foot surgeries. I hope she doesn't have to wear it real long. They aren't the most comfortable things.

Good evening, MMC!

It has cooled down somewhat - yay! Shaggy is doing well, thank God! I gave him a big can of dog food, a big bowl of fresh, cold water and a couple of peanut butter dog biscuits a little after 6 this evening. He ate and drank and then I poured some cold water on him. He absolutely hated that, but it cooled him off a bit so if tomorrow is as hot, I will douse him again. Palmer has finished hiding in odd places and attacking me when I walk by and is now sneaking around the house. She is definitely up to something! It is still a bit too warm to sleep. I think I will read for a bit.

That sounds nice right about now! This is the next 7-Day forecast for Baltimore, Maryland....Now, add in the humidity, the heat index is up around 103- 105 degrees F! ~:-(

Being from Maryland myself, I am all too familiar with the humidity there, you walk outside and you can't breathe. Whenever people here in the Dallas area say it's humid, I tell them they don't know what humidity is. It does get humid here, especially after it rains and the sun comes out, but for the most part it isn't that humid.
