Nope! It's your turn for a while! But, by the weekend, that heat wave from the east is making its way west, and we're going to be back into the 90s! I enjoyed the coolness while it lasted though, and had an early taste of fall to hold me over until the real deal!

You all are flying through the pages so fast today I can't catch up! :lol:

I don't do much cooking in the summer either and Wayne is just fine with that. Way too hot!

My brother has been running around in this Texas heat as a UPS driver. He will be taking a 3 week vacation to Alaska in the next couple of weeks. I know that will be a nice change for him. I would love to go there myself!!! Last time he was in Alaska he ran a 5k. I am not sure if he is doing that again this time or not.

Oh man! How nice for him!! I bet he is looking fwd to that nice break!!! It will be hard to come back!!! I hope he has a safe & fun trip!

Another waiting room! LittleCS twisted her ankle, it is bruised and swollen and she can hardly put any weight on it. So we are now at emergency waiting for xrays

Good evening, MMC!

It has cooled down somewhat - yay! Shaggy is doing well, thank God! I gave him a big can of dog food, a big bowl of fresh, cold water and a couple of peanut butter dog biscuits a little after 6 this evening. He ate and drank and then I poured some cold water on him. He absolutely hated that, but it cooled him off a bit so if tomorrow is as hot, I will douse him again. Palmer has finished hiding in odd places and attacking me when I walk by and is now sneaking around the house. She is definitely up to something! It is still a bit too warm to sleep. I think I will read for a bit.

since being sick is a boring thing....Kandice and I will do a Christmas Movie day....and we start it off right now, with It´s a wonderfull Life.......I also started a Christmas playlist on spotify.....about 37 songs on it now....will continue later on.....oh how I will love it to play it come christmas.......and earlier
