Kandice and Stripey are sleeping.....NCIS is on the TV....llike almost always......Ziva and Tony are just the best........btw....I need to rant.....CBS doesn´t want to pay more money to the actress who plays Ziva....so she dropped out............outrageous.....Ziva along with Gibbs makes the show.......aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah......terrible, terrible....

I'll accept the blame for leading the crew astray during the QVC/HSN "debate"...Shame on me!!!

It is hot enough to bake bread in our shop today...those poor guys are working around machines and the air temp nearby is 120 or so...Brutal...Today is supposed to be the worst of it but I don't remember a week like this, ever! each day my car thermometer read 102...That's hot no matter where you are from!!!

When the next shopping bash???

So glad to be home again.
I burned my finger today in the toaster oven! Ouch. Only about the size of a quarter, but it sure hurts.
I am glad I have tomorrow off, I have 2 cakes to finish for pick up Saturday afternoon.
First thing tomorrow morning I am taking mom shopping, need to get it done before it gets to hot....of course right now that means it will only be 29 instead of 34c.

omg. what temp does it have to be.when they issue a excessive heat warming..

90s and up with high humidity. Real feel temps are in the 100s with some of them topping 115. It is to let people know to keep tabs on their pets, babies and the elderly.

Meceka - Our 1st aid sales rep was in this morning & he looked terrible! He looked like he had been beat up! His face was purple, orange, red, gray & puffy/swollen, his lips were huge! I asked him what the heck happened - He said he had been golfing & boating the last two days in Michigan & he woke up this morning like that - sun poisoning! He looked TERRIBLE!!!

I hope it cools off for all of you soon!!! Sun is going down here in the woods so it is 91. It is very humid - nothing is drying!

When there was no heat in the house, yes! Otherwise, I like the cold as it is easy to bundle up. In the heat there is really only so much you can do!
