I hope it cools off for all of you soon!!! Sun is going down here in the woods so it is 91. It is very humid - nothing is drying!



When there was no heat in the house, yes! Otherwise, I like the cold as it is easy to bundle up. In the heat there is really only so much you can do!

Morning all! an exciting day today, my eldest daughter is performing in her end of school production this afternoon!! she has a solo song to perform so im really excited to hear her!! Alittle sad at the same time as it marks the end of her time in primary school, she starts high school in september!

Sign my changes form at work today and start my new shifts at work next week (hopefully!) Looking forward to being home more through the week!

I hope she enjoys her last few days, primary school is much more fun than high school, it always felt so formal to me!!.
Mandela day today! they ask people to do 67 minutes of charity work or some form of good!. in lieu of 67 minutes of time, I am giving £67 to Macmillian Cancer Support. The helped us a lot during the final days we had with my dad. I will always be very greatful to them:!!

Good evening, MMC!

Shaggy was waiting for me to feed him today - a very good sign! There is a slight breeze outside and it is flowing right into his yard so he isn't as warm today as he was yesterday - yay! The windows are open now and that breeze is occasionally flowing into the house - thank God! Palmer is sneaking around again - not sure what she is after, but she is having a good old time! Bottle is strolling around outside like he owns the place - nice to see him relaxed and not fighting with any other cat!

Stay cool and hydrated!!! And MERRY!!!

So glad to be home again.
I burned my finger today in the toaster oven! Ouch. Only about the size of a quarter, but it sure hurts.
I am glad I have tomorrow off, I have 2 cakes to finish for pick up Saturday afternoon.
First thing tomorrow morning I am taking mom shopping, need to get it done before it gets to hot....of course right now that means it will only be 29 instead of 34c.

Hope the finger is feeling better!!

Wow!!! Is about what I can sum up from yesterdays HSN CIJ!!!! That had to have kept the administrators here just a tad busy yesterday trying to keep up with all the posts, and making sure that we are all on good behavior; lol...I'm sure we raised a few eyebrows....

I was cracking up so much, especially with the conversations between Binger and Jayish..all I can say is thank you to the following for providing sooooo much entertainment from yesterdays event; Made582, Xmas365, Christmasstar, Shellie12, Meceka, Holiday, Sugar142286, XmasDreams, Xmastidings, Christmas-A-Holic, Snowflake22, Trackrebel, Ryan and to anyone else that I did not list nor I could not keep track of....You are all are pretty wonderful bunch and that was some Christmassy cool entertainment here, for the middle of July!!!!

My goodness, the Lord only knows what will be awaiting for us once QVC kicks off their CIJ and Binger recoups from all of yesterdays excitement....:lol:

Also, I was looking at the Hagerstown Almanac last night and we have lost (since June 21st) about 30 minutes of daylight already. Yup, in all reality, the days are starting to get shorter which will mean that in just a month or two, the fall produce will be starting to come in which will then usher in the Fall and cooler temperatures; ahhh I cannot wait, I soooo much Love the Fall!!!!

Good morning! Happy Friday Eve!

Another HOT ol day in Ohio! One more after today & then it's supposed to cool off a little!! I'm looking forward to my brother/sil coming home from Cape Cod this weekend & our family camp out!!! :grin: I have a lot of food to make between now & Saturday!! I made cookies last night...it was too hot to go outside anyway!! Hopefully tonight I can get a lot done - stuffed jalapeno's, buffalo chicken macaroni & cheese, cinnamon roll cake for sure...and I need to figure out what kind of meat to bring for the grill/fire! Oh FUN!!!
