No one has ever accused me of being the brightest star in the sky, but tonight I mowed my yard in the 95+ heat! Not my smartest moment and now my stomach is sick. But, I didn't want to have to do it this weekend.
Long story short, I'm not feeling so good right now. But my yard looks good.

Good evening,

I am finding it so hard to make time for some MMC the last few days, and when there are nearly 1000 posts in a 3 day stretch getting caught up is really tough.

The taste test at Friendly's was very cool, we got to sample, judge, and give feedback on 15 new breakfast items they are wanting to rollout, only 4 will make the cut so we sat at tables and they came out with things like; Bananas Foster pancakes, red velvet waffles, Brioche French Toast, French toast with Nutella and bananas, eggs benedict, a fruit cup, a Breakfast Fribble (like a smoothie), Philly steak, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a brand new fresh squeezed OJ, Bavarian cream stuffed pancakes, and a few more I cannot recall. some of the food was really good, (red velvet waffles, Philly bagel, Brioche french toast) Some was pretty bad, (Bavarian cream pancakes, Nutella French toast) but we used an Ipod to record our thoughts on appearance, taste, size, etc...It took 2 hours and we will now be doing this once or twice a year. We really had fun, they also asked us what else they should do to make it even better. Then as a gift for doing it we received $70 each. My wife and then went to the mall and had to check out Hallmark, I was playing with all the buttons on the ornaments, the only problem is they had the ornament display hidden in the back of the store because of people complaining about the Christmas stuff in the front of the store in July. We had a great night an topped it off by going out to On The Border for dinner at 9pm, that meal was great, I haven't had a good Mexican meal in a few years.

I am exhausted, back to work tomorrow, I am lucky I work in a cooler because this heat has been unbearable all week.
I will talk to you all tomorrow.

[Festive Spirit]

Morning ! It's wonderful Friday at last! My eldest if off school today with a tummy bug so it means both kids are under the weather now. Anyway they are in good spirits nevertheless.

I'm spending the day at home today looking after the kids,waiting for a deilivery and also our heating is having it's annual maintenance today. I got a little tidying to do downstairs as our friends are popping by later for a little visit. They are moving to a different city in a few weeks so spending a little time with them before they go.

The wonderful weather is still here and I love being able to wear flip flops and shorts everyday

The sun has his hat on here again today! the good news is that it will be a little cooler at the weekend on 24-28! I'm spending sometime today picking out cards for the card exchange and looking at which Christmas Fairs I can exhibit at during the run up to Christmas yay!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! One more hot day, then tomorrow it looks like we will only reach the mid 80's which is still hot but nothing compared to what it has been. I have a few things to do today and then I'll be getting into full fledge CIJ mode. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
