With have some news from louann,s sister got it on saturday night but did not want to say anything..until after the qvc

"Dane called me last night with some sad news. He had to put Wishbone down. Wishbone was not eating as was very ill. He took him to the vet and the vet said Wishie's kidneys had quit. They had no choice but to release him from his suffering. "

Lou fought so hard to keep wish living, and now he is with her. bet hes getting some hugs and kiss,s

P.s.. she is doing good . says she is gonna find it hard putting the tree up and hard getting over christmas.

Sad to hear about Wish, but he is reunited with Louanne.

I miss her.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

QVC ruled the weekend, eh? I checked it out a few times, but I was busy most of the time. Still, it was fun to walk by the TV and see anything about Christmas!

This weekend is Elizabeth's debut in The King and I play. She has to go almost every day for rehearsals, and she has ballet camp this week, too. Such a busy ballerina.

My brother and I finally gave up trying to clean the gas tank on the Camaro. We pulled the tank out of the other Camaro I bought for spare parts, and its tank was in great shape! We had to brass-weld the spout back on the tank (it was loose for some reason), and finished running the fuel lines from the engine to the tank location. Now we just have to hang the repaired tank, and the fuel system will be complete.

The heads were almost ready to go back on the engine, but he says he found a set of Dart heads that a guy wants to trade. Apparently, Darts are very expensive, but aren't allowed on the type on racing track this guy is involved in. Jim is excited, because they create even more horsepower. My, oh my.

Great news about the Camaro.

There was a lot of Christmas movies on yesterday also, Elf, Christmas With The Kranks, Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa. It was a very good day for us Christmas nuts!!!

It is hard to watch parents age, my mom is 82 now and is struggling with several things. She is having laser surgery tomorrow on her eyes for glaucoma. She has slowed down a lot the last couple of years.

They were in Reno at the Elks convention last week. I'm not sure if she is home yet or not.

Whenever I think of Reno, all I seem to think of is the show Reno 911, and the movie Kingpin (Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid) I know it is such a strange way to think of that city. cheesy What do you expect from someone who has never been farther west than Chicago.

My parents have a bunch of their stuff and really like it - I think you would to. They said when they bake in it, it's incredible!

Good morning!!! WOW you all were busy this weekend! I don't have time to work & get caught up, so I will jump in here & read what I can!! Hope you all had a GREAT weekend & enjoyed some QVC!! We had a WONDERFUL time with family. My bro/sil made it in safe & sound from Cape Cod! It was so nice of my nieces in-laws to let us invade their pond/camp ground. Such a nice set up they have! Weather was great. Ate too much! Tonight we are going out for Mexican. Mmmmm!

I want to introduce you to my new "little niece" Brandy:



Isn't she a baby!!! Can't wait to see her as a FULL GROWN GREAT DANE!!! :grin: What a sweetie!

I got a bushel of Chesapeake Bay crabs from my boss today. He said he had two and a half bushels left over from a party and he gave me one....

Nice; I mean, that prob. cost him at least 150.00 just for the one bushel. That was my dinner tonight, and I cleaned the rest and I will boil them off to make stock for crab soup later this week and put some additional stock in the freezer to make soup in the middle of the winter! That was pretty nice of him to do that!

I hope everyone has a good night tonight, me I'm going to chill out for awhile, watch Love it or List it and then go to bed.....
