How are things going with the clean up after that tornado? I know some schools got destroyed, are they putting those kids in other schools for now or do they have temporary location for them?

Clean up continues, and there are a ton of vacant lots all around town. One of the schools that was destroyed is meeting in my in-laws church for the coming school year. My wife interviewed there yesterday and was offered the job this morning, but she had already accepted the position at the kids' school. It would have been a challenge teaching in that environment as it just isn't set up for a school. But, the church is awesome and is bending over backwards to get it ready to house the school this year. The new building will be ready for the 2014-2015 year next August.
The other school that was destroyed is meeting in a building owned by the school district that was vacant and used for other things. That new school will also be open in 2014-2015.
A junior high was hit, but it is being repaired and on track to open in a couple of weeks (they are working around the clock).

Does not bother me. But you can always start a thread since we have a Christmas and Halloween finds already so another post wont hurt.

Weekend was good! Thanks! I took my SIL to her treatment & made it back to the lake just in time for fireworks on Friday! Then one of our neighbors thought she was going to bed early, so we went caroling to her trailer - after she had enough time to crawl in bed. Lol! (mean friends, I know...) :rudolph: Saturday was our neighbors wedding. It was very nice!!! I wasn't feeling all that great Saturday - a little iffy Sunday but much better yesterday. Must have caught a bug somewhere along the line, but I made it through the wedding! Sunday was pretty relaxing. We soaked up some sun in our lawn chairs at the neighbors, went for a bike ride & headed towards home earlier than normal on a Sunday. Hope you had a great weekend!?!

Awesome! I just saw in the Ben Franklin sidewalk sales (clearance) ad this weekend, they say to come in & check out the new Fall & Christmas decor!!! :hello:

Yet another waiting room! This is my new passion lately it seems.
This is LittlCS waiting for her first physio treatment, we will find out today how often she has to come. Sprained ankles are no fun!

Hmm, not sure if I like these, are this lights to plug in on them or batteries? They look like they are going bad! LOL, I like my pumpkins a nice bright orange.
