I have to tell you about how much of an impact things here at the MMC forums can rub off on your daily life... Here I was at Michaels the other day and I walk past an isle that had Crayola products in it. On one of the shelves was a kit where you can make a Polar Bear, (I thought to myself that Louanne would have loved that).

Then as I was walking thru the store as a whole, I caught myself saying out loud as I walked past certain items; "glitter" and "glitter - drink", LOL... This is the truth! Lisa even heard me and she goes, "what are you saying???" I just started laughing to myself as I started to head to the isle where all the Halloween stuff was set up...:witch:

Haha!! So true!! I always talk to Adrian about you guys, and because we all have Christmas names, his way of remembering who is who is by where they're from =]

It's great how things remind us of each other throughout the day!! :)

Sounds really nice =]
Sorry you were under the weather, though- glad you are feeling much better!!

How is your S-I-L doing?

She is still in my thoughts & prayers.

xx

She is doing pretty well. Thanks for asking! She looks great!! I just feel sad for her. How lonely she must be! I hope she gets a cat soon. She said she needs to have some "eyes" in her house. Since she had to put her cat down, she doesn't have any daily contact with "eyes"! Yep, she needs a pet!!! Wish she had a friend or family that lived closer to her - or she would move closer to us! :( But she's a tough girl! :)

Good morning! I just had to jump on & share that I am browsing the LTD Christmas catalog online!! SO FUN!!!

Howdy everyone setting here and looking around and still shocked that it is August. WOW 7 months already gone into 2013 and now into the 8th month. The holidays are steamrolling in faster and faster and can't wait.

So hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Here in TN nice day again and plan to enjoy it as much as i can get away from my desk at work today.

Yea, George is a scream with some of his responses, he's quick on the draw (as they say), I miss seeing his posts.

I used to do alot of the games as well and I have not visited that section of the Forums too much lately. I should get back there once in awhile just to break things up a bit....and say Hi to George as well.

You know, speaking of George, have you ever been to his website, he is a fantastic cartoonist, his work is unbelievable good; I was totally blown away with his abilities...

I bought one of his Christmas Eve comics for my Kindle as they are now available on Amazon. They're very funny and he's a great artist. The comics are a lot of fun to read!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be warmer here today with a high around 82. I need to run a few errands this morning and then it will be back home to look over the grocery ads and try to make a menu for next week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Oh, the sight of that brings back memories! Can't find that here in New England. My grandfather was a farmer, and he always had a copy handy.

Nice; I've been doing the very same thing with the "Hagerstown Town and Country Almanac". I've been saving each copy, for about 20 years now. I re-new a subscription for myself and my grandfather every three years...

I'm off first thing this morning to take the oldest DS to the dentist and a quick stop at the store. Then I think I can stay home for the rest of the day, that would be great.

Hope the dentist appointment goes well!!!

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a good week. We had a good time at teh Science museum on Monday . It started raining heavily as soon as we parked the car so luckily it was a day indoors. On tuesday we visited the Sealife centre and the Lego Discovery centre. The Sealife centre was amazing. The sharks and the mantarays were wonderful to watch. Yesterday we relaxed at home, well the kids did anyway. My hubby and I put up a new fence in the back garden all by ourselves!

Sounds like a fun week!!!

LOL!!!! I'm the same way!!!

Good morning all. I wanted to drop by the Pines last night, but I spent my night mowing. It has rained here so I haven't been able to cut the grass in over a week and my goodness it was thick! That may have been the toughest mowing job I've ever done. But, it's nice and short now, and I wish I could freeze it like that!

I hope you all are doing good. I can't wait for the weekend. My wife got me, for my birthday, a DVD set that Turner Classic put out with five Universal westerns. It just came in the mail yesterday and I hope to watch one or two this weekend.
Have a good Thursday!

I know what you mean, its on my mind a lot when I'm in the stores. I often reach for my phone to take a picture of something but usually chicken out because there are too many people around. I'm afraid they will think I'm crazy taking random pictures.

Come on tell us the truth!!! He really thinks that you are just crazy that we are all just imaginary friends!!!! Well expect for me, that is!!!!! LOL!!!!

Good morning all!! It is a little cooler this morning here in North Carolina, hope it last.

I'm off first thing this morning to take the oldest DS to the dentist and a quick stop at the store. Then I think I can stay home for the rest of the day, that would be great.

August is here which means we are getting closer to my favorite time of the year. I will be so glad when summer is over, I'm wanting to change my decor to the warm/cozy fall colors.:pumpkin:

Well better get moving. Have a grand day everyone:hi:

It is a bit cooler here in New York too, we have temperatures in the 70's, I enjoyed my morning walk.
Hope DS's dentist appointment goes well.
Have a great day Mommyby3!

It's basically lakeside collection for business's. Instead of having stuff sent to your home. Your set up an account through your place of work and then everyone can order and have it sent to there.

I'm pretty excited it is August 1st! While August drags by (because it is so hot, and seems to be so long), it is the month school starts (which signals fall will be here shortly). It is also the month college football starts! It may not start until the last day of August, but I can say that later this month I will be watching football. Oh man, I can't wait!
