And with this post, Ryan is poster #34,000. For his efforts and for his seeming to want lower temps, he wins a thermometer set constantly at 70 degrees!!! Now he can brag about the weather anytime he wants, LOL!

Nice!!!!

I go to the dentist this afternoon to get a crown put on. Now I can be the Queen, LOL!!! Where abouts in NC are you?

Hope the dentist appointment goes well!!!!

Have you heard of the Rain Room in New York and one in London? If you get over to this side of the pond, you might want to visit the NY one! It is so cool!!!

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a good week. We had a good time at teh Science museum on Monday . It started raining heavily as soon as we parked the car so luckily it was a day indoors. On tuesday we visited the Sealife centre and the Lego Discovery centre. The Sealife centre was amazing. The sharks and the mantarays were wonderful to watch. Yesterday we relaxed at home, well the kids did anyway. My hubby and I put up a new fence in the back garden all by ourselves!

I do the same thing, Snowflake. I even talk about y'all to my friends. They cannot believe that people really LOVE Christmas the way we do! And that we care about each other and the events in each others' lives.

Haha!! So true!! I always talk to Adrian about you guys, and because we all have Christmas names, his way of remembering who is who is by where they're from =]

It's great how things remind us of each other throughout the day!! :)

Does she want another cat, Holiday? We want another cat since Baby is gone, but we are going to wait until the remodeling is completed on the house. Would she go to the animal shelter to get one? Praying for her. Her loss is real, as I am sure you know.

She is doing pretty well. Thanks for asking! She looks great!! I just feel sad for her. How lonely she must be! I hope she gets a cat soon. She said she needs to have some "eyes" in her house. Since she had to put her cat down, she doesn't have any daily contact with "eyes"! Yep, she needs a pet!!! Wish she had a friend or family that lived closer to her - or she would move closer to us! :( But she's a tough girl! :)

I know what you mean, HMG. Hubby is the same way. We don't have any kids at home, but he gets cranky when there is a glitch in all the work he is doing for the remodel and keeping up with his regular "chores." If your husband is anything like mine, he gives 100% all the time, no matter the job! I think he (my Hubby) is somewhat ADHD and his energy is phenomenal!

Good evening!
I am going to turn in soon. Just trying to unwind for a few minutes. My husband is very cranky tonight, the hot tub doesn't seem to be working. My oldest had a lot of people here last night which probably had something to do with it. Who knows what they did. My husband will figure it out, he always does. He is just annoyed because he has so much going on with the construction in the house, he doesn't need more work. And my youngest had friends over tonight, we had to keep telling them to keep it down. When its summer vacation they seem to forget that people have to get up early and go to work during the week. They are making us crazy this summer, never a dull moment here.
Anyway, I got my truck back and they did a great job detailing it. I didn't realize how filthy it was until I got the car back. Of course its going to rain tomorrow, lol. But the good news is the temperatures will only be in the 70's. Not bad for August 1st.
I hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Since I retired, I have to check the calendar EVERY DAY because I cannot keep track of time! I don't have the daily reminders, like writing the date on the whiteboard for the students. But I am LOVING every minute of retirement! I should have retired when I was 35, LOL!

Yea, I was the same way, I was all screwed up yesterday, I kept on thinking that it was Thursday all day! Wishful thinking huh....

Yea buddy...I'm with you on that one~

Nope, not yet here on my end, but the Fall and Halloween stuff is starting to roll in, big time.:-D

We are a "wild and crazy" bunch, LOL!!!

I have to tell you about how much of an impact things here at the MMC forums can rub off on your daily life... Here I was at Michaels the other day and I walk past an isle that had Crayola products in it. On one of the shelves was a kit where you can make a Polar Bear, (I thought to myself that Louanne would have loved that).

Then as I was walking thru the store as a whole, I caught myself saying out loud as I walked past certain items; "glitter" and "glitter - drink", LOL... This is the truth! Lisa even heard me and she goes, "what are you saying???" I just started laughing to myself as I started to head to the isle where all the Halloween stuff was set up...:witch:

In case you cannot hear it in my "voice," the Vitamin B-12 regimen that I started made the biggest difference in my energy level. I have finally caught up on my share of the remodeling "chores" that I was not able to do the past two weeks. I feel human once again.

Happy to hear that you're feeling better! cheesy

Thanks for the reminder about Christmas magazines. I looked last night at Wal-Mart, but I didn't see any. Soon we will!

Good evening,

I am so confused, I keep thinking it is Thursday because I worked early on a Wednesday.
July is just about over, now it is time for what I feel is the longest month of the year.

Anyone seen any Christmas magazines yet?

I usually see them before the end of July, but nothing yet this year here.

I hope you all had a great Pines day.

Good night all!!!

Oh, Lordy.
Look at the newest addition at the 'Pines gift shop.
Saw it there yesterday. Carl claims it's going to be their best seller, but......

Beautiful description!

So since it is so nice out today I think after
dinner me and the wife will take out Baby Harper for a nice walk. It would make it so much better if it was fall the leaves were changing and we had a few nice hot cups of Starbucks Pumpkin spice Lattes.

I'll take it...only if it will actually feel like 70 degrees! Can you throw in one of those fancy new Carl mugs, too? cheesy
