What a beautiful day! Light breeze, 73 degrees, perfect. We haven't really done much today, but we're about to go out for ice cream. I don't know what the plan is tomorrow, but it won't matter as long as I'm here...have I mentioned yet that I'm in the mountains?!? :???:

Good Sunday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

Seems so peaceful this morning ... well, it was until a neighbor started up their string trimmer ... but the temps and humidity are down, the windows are open, the cicadas are sleepily buzzing outside, and it's dim and comfortable indoors. (Love my laptop, 'cause the keyboard is backlit in dim light!) I think I'll get some tea shortly. Tomorrow's a milestone day, and yesterday we were discussing what clips to prepare for this year's YuleTube. The days are strolling on toward the season!

Giving some thought to getting on Facebook, but I'm right on the fence. There are so many good things AND bad things about it.

Your not alone, I don't and won't do Facebook at all, nor do I tweet..I just do MMC, that's all. (If anyone else does it, then that's fine too, I just don't want to do it myself personally). I figure if anyone needs me bad enough, I figure in todays society and the information highway, they can find me. If not, they can just inqiure to the IRS, NSA, DOJ, CIA, FBI..... I'm sure they know how to find me! :lol:

Looks like Dallas is starting to put a thumping on Miami right now....

Looks like Dallas is starting to put a thumping on Miami right now....

Oh, boy, do I miss going for a ride in the summertime and seeing the roadside signs for Silver Queen! And I miss the sweet corn my grandfather grew next door ... Butter and salt ... Heavenly!
