Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all doing? I am well. Just relaxing with the family. Hope you're all enjoying the day!

What is new and exciting? Nothing really much going on here. Today is my day off, so we've just been hanging out and trying to decide what we're going to do for dinner. What are your plans? Any ideas to give me???

Peaches picked . A few were left on the trees, but the season here is done. The sun came out and it got really hot out there. Tomatoes are picked, but they need to ripen a bit yet. It is so dry out there the tomatoes fall off the plants as soon as you touch them - not good. I hope we get rain soon! Zucchini, green beans and Anaheim chili peppers were picked earlier. My brother is out picking the blackberries and he is going to help me pick pears later, when the sun goes down. So sweet of him!

So I got all of the water soaked up and then ran to my sister's house and got her carpet scrubber. I stopped by Meijer (If you don't know have meijer in your area, think super walmart) on the way home to pick up some shampoo for it. I was amazed how empty the parking lot was. Well when I got inside I found out why. They had ran out of bags!!!! On a Sunday!! One of the busiest days of the week for them. I don't know who is in charge of ordering supplies for them, but they would be getting an earful if I was the manager or district manager.

I'm glad you got all the water soaked up. That is something about the Meijer store running out of bags - there is sure to be some finger pointing with that mistake!
