I don't think "Double Door" has been released on DVD. We got it from a friend who saw it at a film collectors' convention (it had been lost for years and was the hit of the convention). Where he got the DVD, we don't really know. We think it may have been from a merchant who's no longer in business. It WOULD make a great October movie! It was a long-running Broadway play before it was filmed. It's a creepy house/weird family secrets type of movie.
We are now doing the annual wash all the quilts, blankets and comforters. I generally do it in October , but had time today and thought I would get it over with ! It is much easier and faster to just come to the laundry mat with thier big triple loaders

In my house, never mind the curtains. It's all about the tree!
We're getting a nice sofa from my MIL, who is downsizing and moving to a retirement apartment, and I'm making sure that it doesn't interfere with my tree placement when it comes! I put our tree where it can be seen through our front window. The sofa should go in a spot where I can stretch out and gaze at the tree. Hey, I just realized---I can make a Christmas afghan to throw across the back of the sofa during the season!
I think those same bugs got me a couple weeks ago. We went out for ice cream after dark and sat at the picnic tables to eat it. I was wearing sandals, and some kind of bug bit my feet and ankles in several places. They were little bites, but the itching was terrible! They woke me up one morning, too. And it's taking a long time for the bites to go away. A cream with diphenhydramine helped me---is that in Lanacane?

Yes lanacane has that in it, I am sure these are the same bugs, do not recall bites itching so bad before .

Good morning, everyone! Hope you are enjoying your day. I'm about a cup and a half into this pot of coffee, so one more means I gotta get up and get going. I will work until around 5:30 or 6:00, and then I have to sit down and get to work.
Hope yalls weather is good. Everyone around here keeps talking about a cold front coming through, but it sure hasn't hit here, yet. Stay cool, enjoy the day, and get is some rest and relaxation!

Which colors did you choose? Great minds....When I found this pattern, the lady wrote that it is more remarkable if the two colors are distinctly different. I LOVE the hunter green and pale yellow scheme. That was what I had planned to use, anyway.
We grilled Rock Cornish game hens on the rotisserie outside yesterday. First we marinated them in Jack Daniels' mesquite marinade. It will be leftovers tonight!
When I "googled" Double Door, I noticed that three of the stars had the same last name. Then I realized that I was looking at the characters' names in the movie and not the name of the stars, LOL!!!
