I've been sitting here looking at the new Bronner's catalog that came today. I think I need more Christmas tree's.

It has been a busy one for me, had plumbing issues, was trying to help Adi with laundry & packing for a business trip, and Harlowe has been getting sick all night.

I'm really worried about her, especially getting dehydrated. Can you please keep her in your prayers?
I would really appreciate it.

Going to sign off & keep an eye on her, and spend some time with my hubby.

I stopped in Jeffery Alans this evening to checkout their fall décor. You can imagine how excited I was to discover that they already have Christmas stuff out. And plenty of it! I knew that they start putting stuff out in September but I had no idea it was this early. It's September 4th. Wow!

Merry Morning! I have not been able to catch up with all posts although I have managed to skim through a few. Another busy day here today. I really must find some time to spray paint my pine cones. I wanted to make an autumn wreath for my front door but haven't been able to put any work into that either.

I am blessed with a wonderful brother who helps me with all my van issues. This went to his mechanic who cost $200 less than what the guy was going to charge me here in town.
Carls heart was in the right place, just not his voice LOL

It gets tougher. My little boy is now a HS senior and looking at colleges. Enjoy the time you have.

that first day away at school, so heart rending, but a part of life you will soon grow to love! So glad that he did well on his first day!

Time does fly by so quickly, that it will make your head spin. Enjoy every moment with them and relish the evenings helping them with homework, projects and school activities. We were envolved in their school and that was really important to them.

My daughter is now in her 2nd year of college and my son is in the Air National Guard. He had left home a month ago (moved out, he was not very happy) and now, thank god, he is in the cusp of coming back home again. We have been talking (my wife and I) with him and he has agreed to come back home next week (I'm praying that he does). Until he does, I will still feel the emptyness in my heart, that I have had for the past month.

You don't realize sometimes, just how much you need them, as much as they need you, until their gone... enjoy every moment and hold it close to your heart. Because before you know it, the time has past by, and they will have left the nest~

Here we are again....Hump day...and I am wore out! Running a couple of days behind here....which is typical for a Wednesday, but I drive a bus tomorrow night and Friday night....so there will be some free time before our games start...so I will get all caught up and ready for the weekend!

it was very chilly here last night too and still is this morning. Only going up to 17c (62f) today.
We too get our first snow fall around halloween.
