yes days can get busy, I have that way the last while too! When you get the wreath made would love to see a picture of it.
So glad you get time to check in!

Ofcourse I miss you all if I don't atleast pop in quickly! I will post a photo if I ever get round to doing the wreath! Hope you had a good birthday!

I have had sooo much going on im my life, one issue after another, that I was not in the heart to share this additional thing with everyone.

The other week, we were about 20 minutes away from leaving the house to move our daughter into her college dorm, and I went downstairs to the basement to check the back door, when I discovered that my daughters bunny was not acting right. I picked her up and wrapped her in a blanket and called my wife and daughter and we took her to the vets. While we were there at the vets, she had a she had died while they were working on her, she was 7 years old and her name was "Bunny B" or Mrs B or just B, as we called her.

She was a dwarf bunny and she was 7 years is an old age for that type of rabbit. Vicki had gotten her when she was in middle school 6 or 7th grade and B was so personable, she loved chips, cereal, she would lay on the couch with us and watch tv, she loved to have her head rubbed and was also litter box trained.

Vicki was so upset, crying, which got me all upset, what timing, the day of her leaving home. B is now buried under a young oak tree that I planted in the yard.

I am so sorry to read about your family's loss. It is always upsetting and heartbreaking to lose a pet , they are such a meaningful part of our lives. I hope you will be able to take comfort in the memories and knowing that you gave Mrs B a wonderful home and life.

I am happy to read that your son will be returning home, my prayers are with you all.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is Jacob's 16th birthday! And he's very proud of himself LOL. We're having a family get-together tonight at home, then a buddy of his is spending the night tomorrow night. Well, the boys are older now, so his buddy is "crashing at Jacob's place" Friday night, not "spending the night with Jacob." I expect to hear guitars till 3 in the morning.

I took Nancy to Jim's shop to see the latest Camaro, and she was actually impressed. Jim and I plan to start sanding the body this weekend, preparing for a primer-coat.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Wow 16! I couldn't get over my eldest turning 6 the other day! I bet the years have flown by for you! Best wishes to you son, 16 is a very special birthday!

Love the Camaro, I can see it's potential. How many do you have? I'd love to own one someday......like Bumble Bee ...sorry that's the little girl in me.

I have three bodies that are all the same year model as "Bumble Bee". We've been working on one for a few months, and we bought the second car for extra parts (it didn't run, either). This latest one is in better shape than the other two, so we are going to finish this one and sell the other two.

I had a dream it was snowing! It was one of those typical Texas snows. In my dream it was so hot we were melting, went to sleep then woke up to freezing weather and snow flurries. (We have those type of drastic weather changes a lot). I was so excited that I was rushing to my computer to come on here and post about it. Then I woke up. Darnit! As soon as I turn on the weather this morning our weather guy says it will be 100 degrees. Blah!

I would love to hang out here and catch up but I have to run. I will try to be back later.

Have a Merry Day everyone!
as long as I do not have to shovel it I love the dream!
It is really chilly here today.

Good morning, friends!!

Hope you are all having a great day so far!

Harlowe seems to be doing better, thank God. She still isn't 100%, but is much better than last night. She is no longer getting sick, and is starting to eat and drink a little. Thanks for thinking of her

I am having trouble catching up on my computer, I keep getting kicked out or referred to the platinum membership page :/ Not sure if they are working on the site, or not. Anyone else having the same trouble?

I will check back & catch up later!

Thinking of you all~

As your Christmas family, we share your loss. It is so hard, and sometimes others don't understand how we can love an animal and feel so lost without him or her. Praying for your daughter and your family.

I am so very sorry for Vicki's loss. The same thing happened to my son with his guinea pig. His guinea pig died the night before his first day returning back to school after the summer. He was just started middle school. He was up almost all night crying. I wanted to keep him home so bad because he was grieving but being the first day of school he went ahead and went. That morning he seemed okay so we sent him. I know it has to be hard on Vicki to leave like that. I know it's hard on you too to see her hurting.

Happy birthday to Jacob. I loved how you described the friend's spending the night. Boys!!!

always hard to loose a pet. ((((HUGS)))) to Vicki.

My daughter is now in her 2nd year of college and my son is in the Air National Guard. He had left home a month ago (moved out, he was not very happy) and now, thank god, he is in the cusp of coming back home again. We have been talking (my wife and I) with him and he has agreed to come back home next week (I'm praying that he does). Until he does, I will still feel the emptyness in my heart, that I have had for the past month.

Glad you are making some headway with your son. Praying that you guys work it out.

You have a father's heart. Still praying for you!

:-D

:-D

Time does fly by so quickly, that it will make your head spin. Enjoy every moment with them and relish the evenings helping them with homework, projects and school activities. We were envolved in their school and that was really important to them.

You don't realize sometimes, just how much you need them, as much as they need you, until their gone... enjoy every moment and hold it close to your heart. Because before you know it, the time has past by, and they will have left the nest~

I like to think that she is still here watching over us and proud of the way that we have all been here for each other.

Hey Snowflake, I didn't realize Harlowe was ill, (behind on the daily postings). I am glad to hear she has improved and I hope she gets 100% better!
