My luck, they would be particle board- shouldn't be for the price, but ya never know!

Good first 'Bers morning,

I slept well last night, I didn't even hear the thunderstorm that rumbled through last night. My told me about it when I woke up. My wife also has broken out her Christmas Cookie cookbook and is going to start her yearly Fall cookie sampling when she tries out new recipes that will go best for our holiday celebration. We have some errands to do and then relax for an easy day.

I've only seen adults buying them - not sure if they are picking them up for kids or not. Yes, I sell Hardy Boys books, but they are harder to find in good shape and mildew free.

Here we are again....Hump day...and I am wore out! Running a couple of days behind here....which is typical for a Wednesday, but I drive a bus tomorrow night and Friday night....so there will be some free time before our games start...so I will get all caught up and ready for the weekend!

I have had sooo much going on im my life, one issue after another, that I was not in the heart to share this additional thing with everyone.

The other week, we were about 20 minutes away from leaving the house to move our daughter into her college dorm, and I went downstairs to the basement to check the back door, when I discovered that my daughters bunny was not acting right. I picked her up and wrapped her in a blanket and called my wife and daughter and we took her to the vets. While we were there at the vets, she had a she had died while they were working on her, she was 7 years old and her name was "Bunny B" or Mrs B or just B, as we called her.

She was a dwarf bunny and she was 7 years is an old age for that type of rabbit. Vicki had gotten her when she was in middle school 6 or 7th grade and B was so personable, she loved chips, cereal, she would lay on the couch with us and watch tv, she loved to have her head rubbed and was also litter box trained.

Vicki was so upset, crying, which got me all upset, what timing, the day of her leaving home. B is now buried under a young oak tree that I planted in the yard.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Mrs. B. My prayers are with all of you, esp. Vicki. {{{HUGS}}}

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is Jacob's 16th birthday! And he's very proud of himself LOL. We're having a family get-together tonight at home, then a buddy of his is spending the night tomorrow night. Well, the boys are older now, so his buddy is "crashing at Jacob's place" Friday night, not "spending the night with Jacob." :lol: I expect to hear guitars till 3 in the morning.

I took Nancy to Jim's shop to see the latest Camaro, and she was actually impressed. Jim and I plan to start sanding the body this weekend, preparing for a primer-coat.

Here is our tortoise, Alvin. We let him out all the time to run around the house. He gets along well with our cats and dogs. Yesterday he walked into the dog crate and chilled out on the dog bed. He has a really cute personality! =)

Stupid me.....after watching a sequence of Criminal Minds in which they mentioned Ted Bundy.....I checked on him and two other serial killers ' biographies on wikipedia.....terrible toread....still I did...and now I cannot sleep.....note to myself " there is a reason why I do hardly watch horror flicks.....cos they scare me.......so it is hilariously stupid toread about real serial killers........stupid me"

Gorgeous fall-like day out today. I am getting merchandise ready for the store - basically that means I have been washing a lot of glassware and various other cleaning tasks. Fun stuff! The best part of the day is that I found my pumpkin spice coffee and am currently drinking a cup - yay!!!
