Thank you! The parts of the room that you can't see in the photo ... well, they're best not seen just now. There are still some things that we haven't found the right spot for yet. Work in progress! But I'm worn out, I'm going to have to stop for today.

Okay, time to head back to the TV room for some TV and crochet. Mr. just won't stop, though ... he's reorganizing some stuff in the basement yet, plus he's planning on doing some freelance work later. I just can't keep up with him this weekend! Don't know how he does it.

The turkey is cooking, I am trying it in the crock pot, the same way as I do the whole chicken. It is only a 8-9lb bird so it fits, just barely. We made the homemade cranberry sauce this morning, all the other fixins' will be started in about 90 minutes, and then an apple pie for dessert.
Watching the Bengals online, if they could just get rid of the mistakes they would be looking better. It's tied now, but I still say I really do like this team this year.

We put some more stuff on the curb this morning for bulk trash, and the neighbors took a few things (with our blessing---it was good, useable stuff), so we quickly scanned the basement for more things we could put out. (The town will collect up to eight items at a time, so we were able to dispose of three more items.)

Well, the new things are in! Took a lot more moving and shifting things around, but I think we're in pretty good shape. It opens up the front room a good bit (although there are a couple of tight corners), and there will be a good view of the Christmas tree when the time comes. We actually hauled up the artificial tree and measured it to make sure it would fit---it's a 4-1/2-foot tree that I usually put on a lamp table, but now it will be on top of a cedar chest. I also have a cabinet in the basement that I can put Christmas stuff away in, clearing up a few other storage shelves down there for year-round stuff. I'm sitting on the new sofa, enjoying the sunshine on this side of the house. There's no TV in here because of the piano, but it'll be a nice space to relax with music or the laptop. I can wrap gifts where I can see the tree.

There's more stuff to move around, put on shelves, etc., but we need to get some lunch first.

wow, you guys have been busy! Well done, you deserve a good rest.

Our worship team

Being new to town we wanted to make sure our new pastor did not miss anything so they were presented with a map of Stratford showing all of Justin Bieber's favorite spots. (Justin grew up here)

He was presented with a shepherds staff representing his role as pastor, the comment that made everyone laugh was "we didn't know how tall you were, sorry"

Using my cell phone & going cosseyed trying to se the small letters !

Good evening everyone!

I hope that you've all been enjoying a great Sunday... full of football! Seeing the Packers lose in San Francisco was a little painful, but they played a great game. Much better than the playoff loss last year. Hopefully they can study the fill and learn from their mistakes. 15 more regular season games and the playoffs remain!
