I went by the Pines on my way to work this morning and Carl is already blasting "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" on the speakers as he sets up. Sounds like he is going to throw a barn burner of a shindig tonight!

All yeah!!!! You know it's going to be a good one when Carl breaks out Hank Williams Jr!!!!!

Well they are in a paper towel in the trash can now. LOL!!!! My neighbor likes to come over and stand there with my screen door open and talk. So he lets them in. My niece's are bad about it too when they are here.

I just told my granddaughter that I needed to straighten up the living room and get some fall decorations out. She headed over to the hall closet and said, "I will get the Christmas tree and ornaments out"! I like her thinking!

You have definitely done a good job with her!!!

I must sound like the most whiny person ever.....but this cold is just horrible.....after two days of a running nose,
I started coughing yesterday....so bsd I had to go see the doc today....and of course it is a
Bronchitis......not cool and totally annoying....Now I just hope Kandice doesn t catch it from me.....
she was not in school today because of a bad headache...so far it looks like all is fine.an she can get back to school 2morrow

Hi guys, haven't stopped by in too long. Jude started kindergarten last week and we arejust getting into a groove. He loves it, we miss him! It's a very short day but still.. it's weird without him!

We are almost all decorated for fall. Awaiting this heat to get the heck out of here is all!

I started coughing yesterday....so bsd I had to go see the doc today....and of course it is a

she was not in school today because of a bad headache...so far it looks like all is fine.an she can get back to school 2morrow

This is quite possibly the most saddening news I have heard all day. Say it ain't so, indeed. Not one single empty space? "A Christmas To Remember" sure wouldn't have a problem opening in any Ottawa mall.

I'm still holding out hope, however. A Christmas To Remember must pull through!

Also, I visited Tinseltown today. There were only a few new items on display. I talked with the owner and mentioned that I belong to a Christmas forum. He seemed quite excited and wanted to discuss. Needless to say, I gave him the address and said it was a wonderful place. Somehow, he had no idea such a thing existed! He's a great guy though, so I hope he gives us a visit!

I managed to snap few pictures. As I said, I'll hold off on them for a couple weeks. Until then, I'll keep an eye out for immediate contributions for my favourite thread of the year!

you are quite fortunate then, because we just happen to have not one, but two vacant stores right here in downtown Stratford!

At least you are not whining about the Kmart Christmas commercial that is showing now. I think having a cold is a legit reason to whine! =)

I never seen that store here. We use to have Christmas stores open in the malls every year November-December. We really have nice malls here but in the past 5-6 years I haven't seen any open up!!!

I wanted to get some fall decorations out but started feeling a little crummy. Wasn't feeling too swift yesterday either. I told my granddaughter we can do it another day. She said, "I will put them out for you grandma". So very sweet of her so I got one box out and told her to go for it. It's really cute how the stuff is just scattered around the house but it's special to me, even if it is not organized. It came from her heart to make the house look pretty! After she put all that out she asked again, "grandma, can we go ahead and get the Christmas Tree and ornaments out"? Then followed up with, "I will do it all by myself if you are not feeling well". Aww! Just love her! I am not sure how she will tackle a 7 ft. tree!

Anybody with bronchitis is ENTITLED to whine. It makes you feel awful, and hangs on so long! Take care of yourself, and hopefully you'll feel like yourself again. Lots of fluids, remember ... hot tea with honey and lemon helps. I hope Kandice is feeling better soon, too.
