Good Morning, Friends!
The count......and an announcement.
First, the count:
Days to the Season: 62
Days to Christmas Day: 104
And we suddenly find ourselves down to barely over half a week away from our final Window Milestone of 2013, the 100-day Christmas Day marker.
Is it too soon to say our count is starting to dwindle down into a bedpost?
>
Well, OK then.
But that will come sooner than you think!
Warm and humid still yesterday, and today should be a repeat before we get a nice "Autumn Preview" this weekend.
Which brings me to the announcement.
The beach cottage rental season has ended and yours truly must travel over to the coast to see how the place fared and get the lawn (well, tough coastal weeds really) mowed.
As such, a countdown volunteer will be needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
This coveted position does not pay well (in fact it doesn't pay at all) but the fun and prestige is worth it as past vounteers will surely testify(?)
Any takers? Apply within. (Within the thread, that is.)
We stand at 74 degrees here this morning and please - have a Thrilling Thursday, OK?
'Morning! Right now I'm just eating breakfast, soo sleepy, glad it's almost Friday yet super concerned about a transplant friend right now (she's received 2 double lung transplants due to Cystic Fibrosis but is currently battling small bowel cancer and, unfortunately, it looks like she's nearing the end of her life). I've got a feeling my tiredness is due to the concern I have for my friend (and her identical twin sister. Yup, she's a twin and they both have received lung transplants).
Sigh.... sorry to be a downer this morning. :-(
about time! Love it when more people join in!Good morning! I'm going to be crashing the party more often now. :-D
I noticed that some of you guys are going through some things. I pray for the sick to be healed. I also pray for good weather since I noticed someone mentioned a tornado. Stay safe and stay healthy everyone!

Good morning all.
Carl called this morning with a report. I was right... Made was a "perfect angel" (Carl's exact words) at the Pines. However Snowflake and Sugar...well...not so much, I'm afraid. He claimed you two were a handful all night and "carried on in a manner that had all my camel friends leery of coming back" (again, his exact words). So Made, you stand vindicated!
Hope you all have a great Thursday. Track, get feeling better!![]()
Good morning!
Just walked the dogs, it's going to be another hot and humid day. We are expecting showers/storms later this evening and then cooler temperatures for tomorrow. I dropped my daughter off at school this morning and saw an accident on my way home that involved one of her classmates. Luckily no one looked like they were hurt. We are shopping around for another car right now for my youngest and I'm so worried about her. Its extra nerve wracking when they first start driving! Anyway, I'm going to Target and Rite Aid for a few things, then back home to do some chores. I think I need another cup of coffee before I head out. I hope everyone has a great day!

I walked the dogs around the block one time, and they are out cold.
