Goodmorning MMC!

I don't even try to read through all of your posts. As much as I would want to, there are just too many.

I hope you all are well. I send get well wishes and thoughts/prayers to everyone who needs them and I'm happy with everyone who as something to celebrate!

Most of last week the weather was very fall like. But late summer came back for a visit on Friday and Saturday. I spent a great time on saturday with one of my best friends. We aren't able to see each other very often. She is only 25 years old but has to take care of the house and her parents. Her mother has a chronical sickness and her father had a work accident two years ago and can't work anymore. She has very little time for herself and I try to help her whenever I can.

We went to the flea market and I found a necklace for my mother. Just like that I have my first christmas gift.

This week however fall is back in full force. It will be windy and rainy an cold all week. I like it that way and I am already thinking about christmas.

Maybe I'm able to visit the Nuremberg (not sure if this is written right) christchindlmarket. I wanted to got there a long time, but december is always soo full of appointments that I couldn't find time so far.

Happy almost Christmas!! Summer has finally broken here and the nights are wonderfully cool. My favorite time of year is finally here. The kids are still asleep and it's just me and my peppermint tea waiting on the sun to come up.

Have a blessed and beautiful day everyone!!!

I love going to flea markets and yard sales. Every once in awhile I find something really grand that makes it all worth while.
Being a caregiver can be a stressful job. I am the main caregiver for my mom and my special needs son. Neither need a lot of care, mostly just someone to be there when needed.
I plan on going to the Christkindl market in Kitchener again this year.

Best thing to do in December is to make yourself an appointment and mark on the calendar. That way when someone asks you to do something else you can say, no I have an appointment that day!

Good evening,

We were busy again today, apple picking was fun, a few weeks from now we will head to the pumpkin patch. I have to get to work early, like usual, so my visit is yet again brief.

I hope you all had a great Sunday.

Good night all.

I'm glad you had fun apple picking! I will be heading to the pumpkin patch this year too, even though my kids are older. I'll go by myself if I have to!

I just looked at your link and what do I see? A Swiss flag! Reason enough to like this christchindl market! ;-)

Merry Monday! 100 days till christmas! I think we need to celebrate!

How was everyone's weekend? On Saturday, we visited the shops and they were really starting to prepare for christmas. I bought the children's Advent calenders ready for December! I also bought two Halloween decorations. One is a pumpkin and the other is a ghost. I will post a photo when I can ! I was so pleased to find them, it made my day!

Long day yesterday working so I am just catching up with things at home today. Torrential rain this morning!! I was so lucky that it stopped in time for me to walk my son to school. It is pouring again now.

I have fallen behind on weekend posts as usual so I hope you are all well.

Happy 100 days till christmas!!! It makes me giddy that the start of the season is so close!

Peppermint tea sounds yummy! We are finally having cooler temperatures in the evenings as well, it's been wonderful. I hope you have a beautiful day too!

We are moving right along, Crown! :???:

I have not been on here all weekend. Wayne was off on Friday so we finally had 2 straight days to spend together and had a lot of fun! It has been awhile we usually just get Saturday.

Friday we took the bikes out to the lake and made the trip all the way around, almost 10 miles. We parked the bikes and rented a kayak for an hour. I had a cooler packed with lunch and we ate it while floating in the middle of the lake. We ran all our errands them came home to relax.

Saturday we spent the first part of the day in Downtown Dallas to a museum at the Old Red Courthouse building then went to the JFK Dealey Plaza area. We didn't go to the museum, already been there a couple of times, just walked around. I take that area for granted since I grew up here and have had to go down that road to get places many times but when I stop and visit and really think about it it's very surreal to think of what took place. We are coming up on the 50th anniversary of the assassination. The day Kennedy was killed my dad was working in Downtown Dallas less than one mile away from the shooting. He was caught up in all the commotion. The tourist flood that place and you hear languages from all over the world. It's cool to hear that!

We had lunch in Downtown Dallas, headed home and kicked back for some TV then went to the movies. I am not much into going to the movies these days and it's the first time we went to the movies 6 years. I hate the way prices have increased but we went for twilight time and had a coupon for a bucket of popcorn so we managed to keep the price below 20 bucks!

With a full weekend going on we have fell asleep around 8:30 pm the past few nights! We had a great weekend and Monday is here for the start of a fantastic week!

I know a few of you already heard about our weekend from Wayne. =)

I hope you all are doing great! Be Merry my Friends! :D

Xmas365, I love your signature! A Christmas Story is probably the only movie that I will watch the entire credits running at the end. That scene in your avatar shows the credits running with We Wish You a Merry Christmas playing, tree lit up in the window and the snow falling. Lovely scene!

It's always a pleasure, Crown! I have fun filling in. Hard to believe that the next milestone is only nine days away. Nine days? In fact, I think that coincides with the final 'Pines Day of September. Carl must be extra excited!

Great that you're back. Looking forward to hitting these milestones and welcoming the Christmas Season!

Glad y'all had a good weekend. Next time we are in Dallas we have talked about going to the JFK museum. I've e wanted to go for a while.

Good MILESTONE morning everyone!

It's a chilly morning in Ottawa. Temperature is currently sitting at 6C/45F but feels like 4C/39F. Brrr! We arrived home yesterday from Rochester at about 6PM. The tournament went well and we're heading to Boston for Regionals for the final weekend of September. Good stuff!

Not a whole lot to say, really. I had to record the Packers game from yesterday. My brother and dad were in attendance at Lambeau Field, so it is certainly a must watch for me. I already know the score and stats, but I am sure that I will enjoy it anyway. I think I should get to that now.... Otherwise, Kim and I have some apartment hunting to do. We could be moving for the first time in more than three years. Hopefully we can find something for November. Yep. Just in time for Christmas decorating!

Have a great Monday, everyone! The work week has arrived, but be sure to take in the high of the 100 Days to Christmas Milestone! Double digits arrive tomorrow and we'll be closing in on the Christmas Season in no time... not to mention seeing Christmas Blossom right before our very eyes!
