I am so happy to be home, AKA back here! This place totally is my second homeI also knew it was the best idea asking you all about the dinnerware....I think I won! My mom loves Christmas just as much as me and nothing makes for a great day like starting it off with coffee out of a Christmas mug!
I almost ordered a ton of ornaments tonight but then I managed to contain myself :lol: I could go crazy on the spending if I let myself! I am going to be ordering a personalized doormat/rug or two, though! I found one design that says "Santa Stop Here!" and you can add your family name. Another has stockings over a fireplace and you can add in your family members' first names to each stocking. I'm a sucker for personalized things - especially Christmas things!!
I am still exhausted from this surgery and sleeping isn't exactly comfortable when I'm sore. I'm going to lay down but who knows if I'll sleep!! Good night everyone - sweet dreams!

Coffee. I need more coffee!
I woke up at 2:00 and couldn't fall back to sleep. And now I feel a headache coming on. Grrrr. Thankfully there isn't a lot going on today. Typical day of errands and chores. The errands may have to wait until tomorrow, I'll see how I feel later. It is going to be sunny here today with a high of 70 degrees, we're at 45 degrees right now. The house feels chilly this morning! I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Oh, I can see why you need coffee. Maybe a Coke is going to help too? That's what I'm usually drink when I feel a headache coming. Here in my office the coffee isn't very tasteful, therefore my morning coffee at home has to be enough.

Days to Christmas Day: 98
A single lone week -- a scant 7 days -- separates us from the 3/4 Milestone to Christmas Day.

A dry, cooler, lower humidity Tuesday was the order of the day yesterday. Downright refreshing.
There should be a slow return to warmer weather for the rest of the week with no rain in sight for a while.
Currently, we perceive a chilly 56 degrees on our back door thermometer.
OK. The 'Pines. Windows theme.
All of the details are still not clear, but Carl has stated that ALL of the windows in the 'Pines Inn will be flung open to symbolize the fact that we have passed through all of our "Window" Milestones.
Chairs will be lined up in front for a view of the entertainment to take place on the lawn. Some kind of contest.
I think it involves taste-testing.
I think it involves "blends".
.....I think I don't want to be involved.
Oh, well. You may be the adventurous sort, I don't know.....
Regardless. We'll see you there!

I was at Kohls last night too & saw the same things!!! Our Kohls stores look identical!! :lol: LOVED IT! A lady passing by laughed & shook her head as I was checking it all out! WHAT??? Lol! I buy a St. Nick Square piece or 2 every year for my friend. So cool!
My Christmas mugs are never put away! I don't think Nov 1st is being unreasonable!! Dec 1st = way too late!!! Good luck!
Goood morning MMC!! I read a few posts from yesterday but have 12 more pages to go...I'll get there!!! It has been a good day so far. The sunrise this morning was just gorgeous (Thank you Mike!) - I have the chicken breasts for the lasagna cooked & I am roasting a red pepper now! Oh - and drinking coffee & listening to Mannheim Steamrollers!!! It's been a Merry Morning!! I'll read the posts as I can today...lots to do!! YAY!!

Thank you for your kind words.
Real estate isn't working out, I just can't afford it right now. They say it could be a year or more before I make anything, and I can't afford the monthly fees, dues, and marketing costs. And it's not really what I was expecting. I am disappointed but moving on. The grand plan is to find a job that I can still use my license for, like a real estate coordinator, but so far there's nothing available around here for that. Fingers crossed, but I just need a consistent income at this point. Thinking of what I want to do with my life in the mean time.

I don't have a way to buy any eggnog around here. At least I have found a black tea (from Nordfriesland, Germany) with eggnogg taste (or as they call it "Eier-Grogg"), which is very yummy. Too bad I don't have any of it here at the office. You made me want to drink a mug full of it now!
I'm so sorry that it didn't work out. The economical situation in your country is as difficult as it is here. I understand your need for a stable income. You are in my prayers and I hope you'll find a good (and interesting) job soon.
