Just getting over sickenss with kidney stones! so much fun was that!(not) well our leaves are already changing and I need to rake but I am going to put if off a few more weeks! I found these at bulk food store yesterday! There are more and will go back and try them when these are tried. They sell them one at a time so you can try them before buying a whole box. I am enjoying pumpkin spice right now, very good!

STASH tea is very good! It isn't that easy to find around here, but if I get to Zehnder's early in the season the Holiday Chai is available - sells out fast!

Good afternoon everyone!

Stopping in for a quick hello. No news on the home front as of yet. I visited a nice place yesterday. It had everything we wanted except location. We would be willing to move a couple blocks outside our desired radius, however, this home was a few doors down from drug houses, which happen to be across the street of each other. Too bad, really.

In other news, I received an email yesterday that pretty much made my day! About a month ago, I had an interview in Brockville, ON for a position on the Supply Teacher list at the Upper Canada District School Board, which covers a lot of the outskirts of Ottawa and as far away as about an 1 1/2 hour drive. Anyway, I received an email yesterday saying that they are proud to offer me a spot on the Secondary Supply List! It is my first official teaching position since graduating in 2011. It only took just over two years... Wow. Needless to say, I am very excited for this opportunity. I do not know how many calls I will receive, but it will be great to be in the classroom again...even on a substitute basis. Aside from having to drive a bit to substitute, the only real downfall is that I will now need to find a flexible job.

In terms of today, there isn't much happening. It's been raining for much of the day. We had a very wet practice this morning. It was a little rough, but we certainly needed it to prepare for regionals next weekend in Boston. A nice way to end our weekend practices for the year and a nice way to send off the last day of Summer. Apparently, it's a late Fall this year as it isn't scheduled to begin until tomorrow. As always, no complaints here! I am ready for a new season and I am sure we're all looking for to the Season!

Kim and I visited Wal-Mart yesterday. Their seasonal section let me a little disappointed. I can recall a few years ago stumbling across Christmas items around Labour Day weekend. Not so much this year. The usual Halloween stuff was out in full swing and the final aisle, which sometimes has Christmas stuff creep in a little early, was still filled with on-sale barbecues. Soon enough, I guess! Soon enough.

Well, I think I should figure out some plans for the rest of the day. It would be nice to get out of the house, but the rain seems to be putting a damper on some options.

Have a great Saturday, everyone! The weekend is here! Tomorrow, a new season will be here. A season that brings in the beginning of our favourite Season! So much lies ahead.

So somehow I went to the grocery store a lone and came home with my niece's. There goes my plans for the evening.

Spent the day out and about in BC running errands and looking for store stock. Found a few things I need to research yet this evening. Hopefully I chose well! Did not find any Christmas books, but I did find a Moosewood cookbook I've wanted for a while so that made my day. The Greasy Skillet is about to start, so I am going to try to get it in on here and queue up the chat on FB.

Just talked my better half into getting a sitter and going out to eat at endless shrimp at Red Lobster. I only eat there in Sept when they have this promo going.. All you can eat shrimp any two ways for 15.99. Of course Brandi can't touch me in the eating department I can eat ridiculous amounts of food no one really believes I eat as much as I do until they see me in action...Thank goodness for fast metabolism. I never realized how special nights out where until the boys came along. Not complaining at all its just a change that is for sure! I would not change anything in my life right now...anyhow kylee is looking at me eyeing me to let her out into the back yard so I better get up and go let her out! Have a great sat night everyone!
