Cold here today 26.6F (-3c) so Im sitting infront of the fireplace....
My boy is home today also, but he will be going to school tomorrow
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for both my kids! ♥

We have been baking today - and my oven is full with cinnamon rolls
(gluten free) Smells soooooooooooo good!

I started a bronchitis more than 2 weeks ago.....since I had taken antibiotics in July, my doctor wanted to try to treat it without antibiotics......I went back to see the doc on Tusday and the bronchitis is still there.....so now I take antibiotica.....not too cool......I´m not really feeling bad....just have this urge to caugh and that stuff...kinda tight breathing....so I hope the meds will help.

Auch....Hope you are feeling better soon my friend! ♥

I have found my second home!

I went to North Pole City, our local Christmas shop. Sadly I have never been in here before, to my shame! I was greeted with the smells of Christmas, the sounds of Christmas (great music playing) and the sights of Christmas! It is great. I am going to bring the kids this weekend.

Oh, hallelujah! I wanna go there!! Lucky you! ♥

Wow.....

Overwhelmed with emotions. That's how I feel....words can't explain it, but I want to try.

Birth.....was unlike anything I could have expected. Seeing the love of my life in labor for 15 hours (5 of those without any painkiller), vomiting the last 10, seeing the baby being born....it was all.....well....almost horrific.

The love of my life was hurting. She was in so much pain because of an accident with her epidural. I kinda felt robbed....all I ever heard was how great the birth process was....and it didn't feel like that to me....

Until I saw my daughter.

When she came out....and they placed her on my wife...when they handed her to me....never has something so light (7.5 pds) felt so heavy....and yet so pure....

I was so humbled to be in her presence....that I literally wanted to crawl under a chair because I didn't feel worthy...it was so emotional....

and all I remember telling myself...with tears coming down my face....is that no one....no one.....deserves all the blessings.....no one deserves to be this lucky....

for I am blessed...

I wanted so long to be a father....I've dreamed of it for nine months....and now I just want to spend the rest of my life being her Dad.....it seems as if nothing else even matters anymore...

My promise to my daughter is this....I will be the man she needs me to be. I will show her what a man is supposed to be....so that she knows what to look for one day....I will teach her to pray...how to win and how to lose...but mostly...through my example I set by how I treat her....I will show her how to love unconditionally....

She was born at 9:46 pm....she was 19 inches and 7.5 pounds...

and it was love at first sight....

Beautifully written, Coach! That made me tear up a bit! You are and always will be a wonderful father. Big congratulations to you!

I got to witness all 3 of my grandchildren being brought into this world and it was amazing! The boys came out kicking and screaming and my granddaughter came out so peaceful with a slight "waa" then she just opened her eyes and looked around as if she was observing the whole room and everyone in it. The boys are still kicking and screaming and my granddaughter is still so peaceful and sweet. Ha ha ha! Gotta love them all, they are really great kids!

I made it through a full shift at work tonight, I still feel well. We have Eggnog at my store already!!!! I took a picture of it and posted it to the Blossoms thread, I have never taken part of the Blossoms thread the 3 years I have been here, until now.

I haven't posted a Blossom yet because I didn't have a camera in my cellphone. Now I do, but I'd be too shy to take it out and take pictures in stores.

oh that sucks, hope it is all worked out now.
I had no problems, handed it to my daughter and she did it all, did not ask if she had any problems with it.

I think I'm on solid ground with it now. I couldn't understand why it failed several times, then suddenly began to update. Doesn't matter, it's done now! Usually I don't have problems with these things. I did last year's update to iOS 6 directly via Wi-Fi with no problem. I did yesterday's by plugging into iTunes. That may have been my mistake.

Just getting situated at work. I think it will be an alright day so I can spend some time here. I actually did stop at the coffee shop on base and they had a pumpkin smoothie so I tried it and it's great actually and less calories than a latte. Anyhow I am waiting to hear what the doctors are saying about Jordan they left a whole hour before I did. There is a nasty bug going around here already and a lot of my coworkers have it. Well I have to do some supervising so I have to go for a bit. Meanwhile I want everyone to have a great morning~!

Now I have to do some laundry and packing before leaving for Peterborough in the morning with my friend and her daughter.

I could really get used to this weather!
Pleasantly cool and sunny with highs in the mid 70's after a chilly start in the 50's. A pattern which is predicted to continue for the balance of the week.
Currently, we see 57 degrees on our back door thermometer.
