Thanks Snowflake! Actually I couldn't fall asleep - then I woke up at 2:30 when Buster wanted to go out. Was awake again at 4:00 - then the alarm went off at 5:05!!! I could use a nap & I just started work! Lol!

hi everyone, i ve been away on holiday for a while and missed reading all your posts i think there more than 30 pages ive mossed so i think i will probably just start catching up from this page!. Myholiday was good and my two dogs had a blast exploring woods and beaches muddy puddles and tea rooms!. We noticed alot of gift shops starting to get a few bits and bobs out on christmas display and i did buy a teatowel which said "tis the season when it is good to be fat and jolly!". I`ll take that! mince pies and Christmas cakes are in the shops which is great, time to start thinking about making our christmas cake so its nicely alcohol soaked in time for the big day!

In 2 weeks it will be Thanksgiving, my nephews wedding is in 3 weeks and then not long after the Christmas season starts!

Good Morning all my friends. So glad to see the day is October 1st time to kick it in to major overdrive toward best time of year. IN the last week or so everyone is getting tired of me singing Christmas Music lol. Told them it is only going to get worse once Oct 1st hits.

Not too much to report this week other than only month and a few days before the three of us take our first family vacation. We can't wait and this will also be the first Vacation for me and the wife since we got married over 7 years ago. Which also means Oct 6th is our anniversary Yikes better get in gear or the wife will kill me if don't have that date night perfect lol.

Every year I spend so much time anticipating these months, but am so busy when they arrive that I don't savor them. This year I am going to slow down and take in every minute.

Good Morning MMC Gang!

How was your evening/night?

I went to bed earlier than usual but not as early as I had planned. My night was way better than yesterday but I'm still tired. Guess it is the weather. The last couple of days were either very foggy or very cloudy. The temperature are still moderate but it is just tiring weather.

Morning! I hope your energy levels are back up once you adjust to the change in climate. How are you finding ''Fall of Giants '' by Ken Follet. I have read his novel ''World Without End'' and thought it was really good!

Yes, I'm sure my energy level will be up again.

So far I love the book (though I skip some of the lengy historical parts, as I read a lot non fiction on that thopic). Can' t wait to read "winter of the world" the sequel. I mostly like Ethels and Mauds story lines at the moment.

"World without end" and "Pillars of the world" are my least favourite books of him. I don't know I just didn't like the time in which those two played. But Follett has many amazing books.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Happy October 1st!!

I worked pretty late last night on my part-time business, not getting home till after 9pm. I thought I was tired, but Elizabeth was up till almost 11pm doing homework. It's that way every night anymore. Even on weekends. She could probably get it done sooner if she quit dancing, but why should she have to give up something she loves that much? I'm so sad for her.

It's fitting that it's October now, since Netflix just released Season 3 of The Walking Dead. I love that show! I've been watching it as quick as I can so I can catch up before Season 4 starts. I'll DVR it from now on, and I won't have to wait another year for it to hit Netflix.

More work to do this afternoon, and I have to pickup Elizabeth and a bunch of girls from school and take them to a bible study...At Bernie's store! Upstairs in the coffee shop, actually. It's very nice up there, I need to post a couple pix of that, too.

I love candles which smells like apple, cinnamon (not tooo much), sugar and so one. But candles which smells like warm food (meat etc.) just don't agree with me.

Good morning everyone! Happy October! it does not feel very fallish here today we are mild in the 70's. But a storm system is coming through tonight and the next few days with rain chances and cloudy weather. Lows will be in the upper 30's and highs in the 50's. Almost cold enough to snow at night but not quite yet!! The leaves are still changing and just now beginning to drop. By Halloween I think they will all be bare. I have a bad headache today at work so not feeling so good. Hope everyone is doing good though!

Happy October 1st MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a warm one here with a high of 80 degree's. Boo!!!! Where is my fall weather!!!! Ok it's going to get here this weekend but it's going to bring strong storms with it which is going to ruin are big fall festival. Double Boo!!!! Not to much going on today. Just a few things to do around the apartment this morning and then I'm headed to the south side of Indy to do some window shopping. Well I might buy a few things. Not as much as I will want though, I'm sure. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Headaches are so awful especially if you are at work. I hope it eases up soon.
