Work time again, yeah! So happy to have work and be able to stand well enough to do it.
Have a good afternoon everyone!

Have a good day! glad the knee is doing better!!!

Oh, Eddie... If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now.

Christmas vacation is on Comedy Central right now!!!

I musta missed it! South Park is on now!

Caught an ad this AM for this year's Tran Siberian Orchestra tour. It is the final year for "The Lost Christmas Eve" concert. Do not wait. Our family has caught it three times over the many seasons they have toured with it.

Good Evening! :-P

Hey Solice!!

Good afternoon Christmas buddies! It has been a rather busy day for me. This whole week has been busy since we have company. I wish I would have taken a week of vacation from work so I could have been with them more. Anyhow I am off the week of Halloween as usual!! Anyhow I am on lunch break and just eating crackers at my desk. I hope this early October day finds all of yall doing awesome! I hope to be around more after BIL and SIL leave! (not that I want em too but you knowlol)

I have always taken Halloween week off! It's like tradition since like 1999!! I always eat candy, watch wall to wall horror movies, go to the local Haunted house! And on Halloween night I just hand out the candy while blaring the soundtrack to Halloween 1 or 2 out on my porch while the kids come up!!! after that is done I still watch my horror movies until about Nov 13. Halloween at my house is not done until the Christmas décor comes out!!!

ETA: I just wanted to add that to me Halloween is more of a celebration of Autumn the opening of the Holiday season!! I never was allowed to celebrate it as a kid we never got to do the trick of treating thing so I think I am making up for it as an adult and I am making sure my kids celebrate it and go trick or treating!!

Good Evening! :-P

Good Evening, Solice!!!! Hope you've had a great day!!!

I went for some plant identification earlier today for university course. It definitely went much better than tree identification last week. ^^ I also got a lot of useful information for possible exchange to take part in next semester. It turned out to be complicated story overall so shortly, the deadline is in less than two weeks and there's too much paperwork to be done by that time to apply for the exchange. Although spending 5 months in Amsterdam sounds very attractive, I have to be realistic that I probably wouldn't be able to submit all the documents requested. It's very shame but oh well, I guess it has to be that way.

That's a bummer that you didn't find out about the exchange until now. Hopefully another one will come along before you are done with school.

I musta missed it! South Park is on now!

Darn!!!

Sounds like a great way to spend a vacation!!!!

Stopping by to say hi! I have not been on here for a week! Have I missed any big news around here? I doubt I will be able to catch up on the postings.

Wayne and I went to Six Flags Saturday and rode a few roller coasters. We have season passes so we just stayed for about 2 hours. We then headed to, what use to be, the year round Christmas store that is close by. I found out they close for a few months during the summer now. I sent a few pictures of Santas to Made and need a get a few pictures posted in the blossoms thread! That store is amazing! We had a nice day, as usual!

As I type I just saw a commercial of International Delight Pumpkin Spice coffee cream! Some of you may have seen it. A lady buying up a bunch before they are gone. Yay for holiday commercials!

It will be in the 90's up until Friday and then only in the 70's this weekend!

I cannot find the original post but I saw that Bradmac quoted Xmas365 on Santa and Rudolph with a lighted nose. That is so adorable!!! Is that yours or took a picture of it somewhere else? If it's yours where did you get it at? I love it!!!

I wasn't feeling too Christmasy this week and I usually feel it big time by September. Yeah, I'm one of the Christmas Crazies like you all, the rest of the world thinks "Why have the Christmas spirit so early"? I should not have missed a week on here. Just as soon as I started typing and looking around I am really feeling the Christmas spirit! Yay! Thanks to you all! Especially Jeff for having this site! :???:

I love it!! How fun!!

I love fall and Halloween both, too. Celebrate them from September until about Thanksgiving, then Christmas!! It's a state of mind!!

Congratulations! I would love to work for yankee candles! I hope your daugthers will have successful job interviews

Good luck to both of your daughters with their interviews!!

Good Luck to your Daughter!!!!!

If she gets on at Coach, tell her to be careful!! Sugar and Snowflake will be blowing up her phone asking if she can get them her employee discount!!!!

Goodluck tomorrow and best of luck to your girls on landing a job they like soon.

Thank you!!! My daughter was offered the job at Crabtree & Evelyn this afternoon, she's going to take it! The Coach interview is on Friday for my middle one, I will keep you posted!

I have forgot to post pictures from the new Santas I have got in the last 2 months or so.

I love them both!!!

Congrats on the job at Yankee Candle, I have heard they are a great company to work for. I have been trying to get a job at their home office in Deerfield, MA for the last few years.
More importantly, did you smell the Turkey & Stuffing candle while you were there? cheesy

Good luck to your daughters on their interviews.

Thanks xmas! I did not get to smell the Turkey & Stuffing candle, maybe I will tomorrow. I'll let you know!

absoloutely rubbish day today :( sometimes I really struggle to understand other people. So I am cheering myself up with 15 mins on here, with happy people who "get it". ( the whole Christmas thing)

Hope tomorrow is a better day, sending hugs your way!

Yesterday I heard my first radio commercial for the symphony Christmas concert in the nearest larger city. That put a smile on my face on the drive home! The first Dixie Stampede Christmas commercial on tv is what gets DD & me to squealing & dancing. Those usually start in October too!

Yay! I heard a commercial today for the Christmas Spectacular show in New York City, it is so exciting!

I leave the office in about 10 minutes.

Wish everyone a great evening at the pines and a good night!

If work allows it, I'll show up tomorrow again.

Bye Bye

((Hugs to everyone))

Have a good night Cetacea!

Thank you, Mrs. Ryan & Ryan!!

You are right on the money

I agree!

I just realized that in the last catalog I received there is a scratch and sniff thingy for the Turkey & Stuffing candle. It's not my favorite but it's not bad. The new Cranberry Sauce and Sweet Potatoes Pie both smell yummy!
