Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good afternoon! TGIF! ☆
Im sitting here reading your posts. Don't have time to answer all!
But sending, hugs, thoughts and prayers all over the world in my mind! =)

Last week I wrote about my daughter who are recently diagnosed
with childhood arthritis/juvenile arthritis...
She did an MRI and x-ray last week, and the result came with bad news...

It shows that she have arthritis and that her temporomandibular joint (?)
are deformed and flat... She have to start on medizine asap.
And she have swollen lymph nodes on her throat and have to do an ultrasound next week.
More blood tests. And they want an x-ray of her lungs....
But there is more, and we will know more after talking to the doctor (next week)
And Im so worried!!!! ..... Please pray for her? ♥

Here it's Autumn vacation (all next week)
And we are starting this weekend with homemade pizza!

Just finished mixing up a batch of gingerbread, it is in the fridge chilling.

I'm not much for gingerbread ... EXCEPT this time of year! A square of gingerbread with a plop of whipped cream is so October ...

Yes over all the job is very interesting, but sometimes very stressful and frustrating. My main job is it to make offers for our customers regarding special HP projects and controlling orders that we get because of the offers, credit note claiming and taking phone calls. If the PM for the HP printers is on holiday (like right now) I'll take over her tasks.

Sunday, after church, we're going to Savannah to eat and swing by Sam's Club. That's the only place I can find the 6 pound bag of fat-free gummi bears!

When I first read this part I thought you were going to Sams to eat, thinking you were making your rounds on the samples for dinner. Ha ha! My aunt actually does that! But have to admit in the past I have made my rounds and only one round and felt full! Wayne laughs at that because here I am full and he is still hungry!

I hope 6 lbs of gummy bears is enough! cheesy

That is the best scene!!! I get just as giddy as he does when he says that! In fact, that is me at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade when Santa shows up. I really do jump up and down screaming. Wayne just sits back and laughs at my giddiness!

I can't resist mentioning that today is Buster Keaton's birthday. "The General" inspired me years ago when I was suffering through chemotherapy. I've had a very soft spot for him ever since. Thinking of you, Mr. Keaton.

I just checked out weather for the first time today and our first chance of snow was actually this morning in association with the winter storm slamming Wyoming and Co. But it was only a 20 percent. It's 43F right now so I just don't see it happening. The snow level tonight was suppose to be 5500ft we are 4300Ft altitude. But that is right in line with normal. everyone says by the end of October we usually have had at least flurries. What is nuts to me is by Monday we will be back to the mid 70's!!! But I find it hard to complain about 75F sunny weather!! Perfect early Fall weather is you ask me. Well I am about to eat lunch. Hope everyone has a great afternoon to end this work week! see ya!

The three feet tall christmas tree I ordered came in today! I am going to spray paint it black and turn it into a Halloween tree. Anyone ever done anything like that? What kind of paint do I use?

Woohoo!!
I would think a black acrylic spray paint would do the trick. My suggestion would be taking the tree apart and hanging each piece on a clothesline or something like that where you can spray it more evenly and it can dry well.
