Christmas Countdown - 2013

My daughter loves when Santa arrives at the parade. She explained to me that he is THE real Santa. To her, they just block off the streets and have parade to welcome him and the Season.

But that's the way it is, isn't it??

Good afternoon! TGIF! ¡Ù
Im sitting here reading your posts. Don't have time to answer all!
But sending, hugs, thoughts and prayers all over the world in my mind! =)

Last week I wrote about my daughter who are recently diagnosed
with childhood arthritis/juvenile arthritis...
She did an MRI and x-ray last week, and the result came with bad news...

It shows that she have arthritis and that her temporomandibular joint (?)
are deformed and flat... She have to start on medizine asap.
And she have swollen lymph nodes on her throat and have to do an ultrasound next week.
More blood tests. And they want an x-ray of her lungs....
But there is more, and we will know more after talking to the doctor (next week)
And Im so worried!!!! ..... Please pray for her? ¢¾

Here it's Autumn vacation (all next week)
And we are starting this weekend with homemade pizza!

We actually have a pretty quiet weekend. Oldest son has football practice on Saturday and daughter has her weekly horse riding lesson on Sunday and that is about it. I might take daughter to Michaels to do the pumpkin craft this weekend as I have to buy some items for her costume anyway so I figured while we are there she can do the craft. We also will run to local pumpkin farm and pick up their pumpking doughnuts. They are so good and just melt in your mouth. I also have to go to grocery store, 3 growing kids eat a lot. Ok, so I guess maybe I do have a busy weekend after all, but this is normal busy. Have a great weekend!umpkin:

I'd like to be there to see that! It gets me excited, too, but I usually just smile real big! But I'd join you in jumping up and down and yelling!

I make sure everyone comes in the room to see him arrive whether they want to or not. Ha ha! My 23 year old son is not into all that but at that part he knows to be in the room to see Santa arrive. Wayne is not much into parades but he is there for the arrival as well.

Home from the festival!! I have a few things to get done and then I'll be back to catch up.

It would be great to watch the parade with you! Mr. doesn't care for it and finds something else to do. I keep running back and forth from the TV to him like a little kid, saying, "Ooo! They're going to show ____! You should have seen ___!" The Macy's parade (accept no imitations!) has been a tradition for me since kidhood. My parents sent me next door to my grandparents to watch it, in order to keep me out of the way while they baked fruitcakes.

Tomorrow I plan to plant Jacob's deer hunting plot, before the rain comes on Sunday. Then, I'm told, I plan to clean out my closet.

Sunday, after church, we're going to Savannah to eat and swing by Sam's Club. That's the only place I can find the 6 pound bag of fat-free gummi bears!

The three feet tall christmas tree I ordered came in today! I am going to spray paint it black and turn it into a Halloween tree. Anyone ever done anything like that? What kind of paint do I use?

I've never done it but it's going to have to be some kind of plastic paint. My neighbor used fusion by krylon to paint her plastic patio chairs and they came out really nice.
