The faucet is finished, a cut thumb and finger to show for my efforts. I feel like a fool, I spent a half hour trying to hookup the adapter to the new faucet by turning it the wrong way. I couldn't figure out why it would just spin instead of connect. Like I said I have two left thumbs when it comes to fixing things. But I got it done. I have to run out and buy another adapter so the dishwasher will be able to connect to the faucet correctly. :-o
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005499/?ref_=tt_trv_quAs Miss Frizzle would say "Take chances, make mistakes, get messy"
and remember, the plumbers of America have plotted against the homeowner so that they cannot do this on their own but must hire them for help!

Christmasstar! Those pies look so yummy!!! Of course they are gluten and dairy free??? Weee! I could only wish. :D They still look delish!

I just read an article about 21 of the original Muppets being donated to the Smithsonian. Kermit has been there 19 years already (when I saw him, they had him in a display with Charlie McCarthy and Irving Berlin's piano). Now Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, the Swedish Chef, and others are there too. It made me feel a little wistful. I grew up with the original Muppet Show, and to me the Muppets just haven't been the same since Jim Henson passed away and the Muppets became Disney properties. It's amazing how many of the "little" Muppet Show characters I can still identify, like Camilla the chicken and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker. When I listen to "The Twelve Days of Christmas" on the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas album, I think I can still identify every voice.
I love the muppets! Thanks for sharing this with us!

Sounds like a great plan!!!

I just got back from the mall with my granddaughter. While we were walking around I told her let's go to Macy's and see the Christmas decorations. She said okay. We get in there, she sees the decorations and looked so surprised and said, "Oh grandma, there really is Christmas here"! Then followed up with, "I was going to be so mad if there wasn't any Christmas"! Ha ha! First of all, I don't think I ever seen her "so mad"! She is such an easy going child so this must be a serious thing to her if Christmas was not at Macys! Phew! Thank goodness Christmas was there! :yahoo:
