LOL!!!! Yes it is!!!!

Good afternoon!

It's been a busy Thursday at work! That's a good thing I guess! It is just beautiful outside. Infact, I had the top down on my convertible when I came back from lunch - and I met my bro in his convertible too! It's not too often we are still driving with the tops down on Oct. 10th! Crazy weather!

Tonight I am making Pot Au Feu & if I have time an apple danish to bring to the lake tomorrow. I'm looking fwd to making both. I have only made the pot au feu once & I've never made the apple danish. Love trying new things! My friend Missy might come over for awhle tonight too, to stitch 'n b*tch! I need to run to the grocery store too. Busy night!!

Hope you are all having a great day!!!

Sounds like you are going to have a fun evening!!! Good Luck with the danish and have fun!!!!

Such a bummer, our fire station does fire truck rides one night a year for fire prevention week and it was supposed to be tonight, but looks like it's a no go with the rain! On a positive note, my kids will be in bed early! :)

Festive Spirit, so sorry to hear! Keep us posted, please. We are all thinking about you. Prayers for you all!

Bradmac, nice paint on that Camaro. I bet you can't wait to finish your project. I missed what happened with Elizabeth's project but I hope all goes well re-doing it!

Holiday, no worries on the danish. My granddaughter is a chef now and will be happy to help! :D

That's a bummer!!! Hopefully they will reschedule!!!

MerryCarey, I am jealous! This is our "fall" out my back window. All green and even one of the trees has pink blooms all over it (top right). It's hard to make out in the picture but they are there!

Love the car! Good luck!!!
Did Elizabeth try running Picasa? It's free & it will find any & all photo's & videos on your computer - even ones you thought you have lost. It has saved me a few times. Just an idea!!
I don't know if she's tried that or not. I'll ask, thanks!

That would be a nice ride. The sad thing is I had my driver's license when that car came out. You'll have to drive it up to the mountains. Imagine driving it on a curvy mountain road. You may want to watch the old movie "Thunder-road". It was partly filmed on Soco mountain. You could pretend to be Robert Mitchum as you drove across the mountain.
Ha! I didn't know Thunder Road was filmed up there.

I'm already eyeing driving gloves, goggles, and maybe one of those long white scarves to sling around my neck.

Thanks! She and the other girls are re-recording the lost videos for their school project as we "speak".

Hope you feel better soon, too!

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing blossoms in October!

The leaves are pretty now, but they will soon give way life-and-death decisions about whether to brave driving to work through ice and snow (among Massachusetts motorists who drive like maniacs in ANY weather), or to work from home, where I have to stay glued to the office email all day, trying to ignore entertaining distractions. Or worry about leaving the office early enough to get home safely after it starts snowing or sleeting. Or trying to shovel out the driveway. I love snow---when the only thing I need to do is LOOK at it.

I think we all need a perfect balance of weather for everyone. I don't want to see blooms now because we have way too much warm weather here and you have had more than your fair share of cold.

I would for once like a balance of all 4 seasons. Not torturous blazing heat for 9 months to sorta chilly weather. Ha ha! Slight exaggeration, I know, but it sure seems that way. We do get some mild temps in the fall and spring but a lot of above temps as well. We occasionally get snow and ice in the winter. I know that a few of my northern friends who came to visit in the summer said they would never come back during that time again.

Sure don't want a lot of dangerous ice on the road either! That is very worrisome and scary! I feel for you with that situation!

Good afternoon, how are you all? I guess I have missed quite a lot. It is difficult these days to keep up with posts.

My eldest had an accident at school and had to undergo some minor surgery. I have been with him in hospital for most of the week.

I miss it on here, been thinking of you all and hope you all are ok.

Just stopping by quickly so you all don't forget about me :) !

Oh no, I hope he is doing better! Praying for him and you, Festive! Take care, my friend!! {{{HUGS}}}

I wasn't feeling well most of the day yesterday. To make me feel better my granddaughter had her play dishes out and made me a dessert that she called, Santa Roo Roo. I asked her what was in it and she told me cocoa and other yummy stuff. Sounds good to me!!! I "ate" it all up! She is quite a chef!

My mother went ahead and took my granddaughter home with her around 2 pm so I could get some sleep. I was so tired but was unable to sleep so I just laid in bed all day watching Christmas movies, Miracle on 34th Street, Brady Bunch Christmas, A Christmas Carol (Patrick Stewart), A Christmas Story and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

I feel just okay today but going to try and get some things done around the house.

Have a Merry Day my Christmas Friends!

I hope you are better soon! You should have your personal chef make you some chicken soup! cheesy

Good afternoon, MMC!

I am done moving furniture around - yay! Just relaxing a bit before I start doing some work for the store. Might eat dinner, too. For some reason I am rather hungry at the moment. cheesy

So much for supper! Walked into a Harvey s, right where you stand to order your food are severed limbs. I do not like the image of that at all especially where I am thinking of eating . This turned my stomach so much I had to leave without anything. Not one bit hungry now.
At least I saved some money

Howdy there Bing, old building and loan mystery twin of mine!

Oh, that's so sad! Wishing your son will feel better soon. :]

Watching Christmas movies is always fun! I have only seen 'Miracle on 34th Street' but I really liked it. I would love to purchase it on DVD some time. :]

The autumn view from my window at the office.

Good evening everyone! It's very late here and I should be sleeping right now but instead, I'm fully awake and searching the internet for the pictures of my favourite actor for 'PhotoShop' graphic works. I don't usually search online very often but once I start, it's very addictive. ^^ I'm lucky for my lectures tomorrow which start at 11am only so I hope I will get enough sleep otherwise I won't be productive. :] I have an appointment with study abroad and exchange coordinator tomorrow and I hope to submit all the documentation for my exchange.

Best wishes! xx
