nice to have you back again!Hi, everyone! I haven't been on here awhile. I've been busy with college and just everyday life, but I decided it was time to check in. I'm so excited for the season and I hope you all are doing well!! Have a good Thursday everyone!
busy lady! I love working on articles, doing one now (well, finishing it as soon as this wedding cake is done!) I like that idea for advent calendar.Good lunch time MMC gang!
I wasn't on MMC for a couple time as I'm enjoying my holiday.
I hope everyone of you are in good health!
Saturday went by quite fast as I was grocery shopping, cleaning the house and practise my text for the thankgiving church service on sunday.
Sunday we had a great thankgiving church service. The kids did their part amazingly well and my story telling went well too. In the afternoon a family from our church, who are great friends to us, came over. They are in a very difficult situation right now, as the father is without a job. The whole church are giving food and money so this family is able to pay their bills and are having enough to eat.
On monday I went shopping (I needed new winter clothes), on tuesday I finally finished my travel journal and yesterday I spend the afternoon with my best friend and her baby boy. It was very funny and I loved to see how much her son grew since the last time I saw him (two months ago).
Today I went grocery shopping as I'm planning to cook a typical swiss dinner called Aelplermagronen tonight. In another forum I'm a member, we are having a advent calendar each year. Everyone can contribute to it by doing one or more entry to the advent calendar. I'm doing one for the first time this year and I will writing a article about recipes from the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. Today I wrote down wich recipes I want to have in the article. Tomorrow I will translate the recipes from English to German (at least I'll try it).
See you either later this week or next week.
Have a great time!

Moving in on another weekend, with Weekend Eve just ahead.
But first things first.
The count, presented for your edification:
Days to Halloween: 14 (Hey. Hey. Hey. Two weeks from today!)
Days to the Season: 27 (Under four weeks, now!)
Days to Christmas Day: 69 (Below 10 weeks!)
We are so advancing!
Not a bad day yesterday. Moderate temps and no rain. Calm, too.
A repeat for today would not be frowned upon!
Right now, we have 61 degrees here in this neck of MMC.
Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
Get yourselves all psyched for Weekend Eve tomorrow!
You should take it off and come shop with me!!! I'll show you how it's done!!
Hi All!
Work has been alright--some days busy and others, ya know?
I applied for two 'higher up' positions--one is within my own bureau and the other is with the bureau I used to work for.
Also, I'll be a 'guest editor' next week (M-F) for the Facebook page 'The Waiting List' and am super excited! Two things right up my alley: writing and transplant!
My sweet furbaby, Missy, turned 3 this past October--she's growing up too fast for me!
Hope you're all have a great, Autumn-inspired week!
Come on, now. This is the way we get a seven game series.
