Forgot to mention ... on my way home from work, there's a house that has white Christmas lights strung in the shrubs and evergreens bordering its property. First lights of the season! I seem to remember the same house with the same lights starting before Halloween last year. Makes me smile to see it and think of the many houses that will be lit up soon!

Yesterday my mom and I went to our grandson's school for a play they put on. It was really cute!

Since I get a lot of one on one time with granddaughter while our grandson's are at school Wayne and I are planning on some one on one time with each of our grandson's. As my granddaughter always says, "Are we having girls time"? Ha ha!

We plan to take our oldest grandson to an air show. He loves that kind of stuff. My dad will be going with us as well. This is a special time I have with my dad. We have been going to air shows together for over 20 years!

My younger grandson loves the Beatles so we bought tickets to take him to see Rain. He is very excited! Wayne and I have seen them 4 times, they are awesome! They performed at Broadway and top notch. I can't wait to share this with him. All my grandkids love the Beatles but he seems to show more interest. My granddaughter loves them too but she is a bit young to sit through a whole show like that.

Every December we always plan a one on one day with each grandchild for their special "Christmas Outing". They keep talking about it and cannot wait. They love it because they get to pick their day on exactly what they want to do. It really makes them feel special to hang out with us by themselves. Wayne and I have so much fun with them!

I got a lot to do today. I hope you all have a Merry Day!

A busy, productive day at work today, just relaxing before bed now.
I have a big day with head honchos being about tomorrow. Bring 'em on!!!!

The Red Sox are getting blown out, so I may use that as an excuse to go to bed at a decent time tonight. If they make a comeback I can be surprised in the morning.

Good evening, MMC!

I went outside this morning and found that someone had dropped off an orange tabby kitten. How could someone could do such a thing I'll never understand. It was cold and rainy out - the poor kitten must have been terrified. Friendly little guy and I would have loved to have kept him but, something told me I shouldn't. I called my cousin and she came over to take a look and he went home with her. At least I'll get to visit him!

There are some tasks I need to do for the store yet tonight. Where has the day gone? Seems like I just woke up and here I am again, behind where I wanted to be. That being said, I had better get to those tasks!

Good morning everyone!

I had a busy day of editing yesterday. So busy that I wasn't able to stop-in for 'Pines Day. Sorry I missed all the festivities. It's yet another dreary day in Ottawa. Temperatures are to reach the mid teens with maybe a (very) little amount of sun. It seems about on-par with this time of the year.

As per usual, there isn't a whole lot new here. I have been a little stressed-out about my job(s), but I think that topic is for another time. I may ask everyone on here for some advice quite shortly. It will come with another post. Perhaps even its own thread. We shall see.

I have a few things at work on the go. The work can be a little boring, but at least I have some podcasts to keep me company. Speaking of which, I am about to turn on the latest Merry Podcast. I suspect that it will make the time between now and lunch fly by! Tonight, I have hockey. It will be our first game in a week, so it should be great to get on the ice once again. After starting slow, we seem to have been coming around and playing well. Hopefully we can keep it up tonight!

Well, I hope everyone has a great Thursday. The weekend is nearly here. The countdown is into the 60s. Plenty to look forward to!
