Up early here...taking some kids to volunteer in the "Race for the Cure". I asked our school to make 10 hours of community service a graduation requirement, so we are trying to do a lot of things like this. Sorry, reading and writing are important...but nothing is more important than learning to give back....

I think the requirement is a great idea!

good morning gang .... i just had to post this morning. Last night I dropped my daughter off at her school dance and on the way home I passed a house famous for their yearly christmas display oustisde DECORATING their house for Christmas. They were 3\4 the way done and had half of their lights on!

After I got home I found out from my neighbor that this house will be featured in an episode of houses decorated for Christmas on TV. They are filming the decorating process and the final shoot will be Sunday evening. Not sure what channel this will be aired on or the name ofthe show but I assume it will be in the paper next week.

This house is about 5 minutes fromme

Well off to get the kids their halloween costumes today. Have a great day!

taking a quick break and having some breakfast, cake is about 1/2 done. mom already called with the predicted, can we leave early question. LOL. That is something that we cannot do as the carter will not be open the hall until 2pm and I do not want the cake in the van any longer than necessary.

I just tried to dye my hair a more medium blonde and geuss what?/ It's GREEN! Maybe I can pretend it's an early Halloween gag? LOL!

I am coming to you from my dining room table, hair coated in ketchup (Google says this is the cure)... Ohhh man!

Happy Friday everyone! We made it! Another weekend is here and I just started my 2 weeks annual fall vacation! The first week I have decided to go camping with some friends from work. We are going to be in the Utah wilderness with probable snow and cold temps. I will be back on October 28th and I will miss you guys until then! Wish me luck! I am really going to miss by boys and maybe brandi too(just kiddin) I hope everyone has a good week ahead and enjoy this beautiful Fall weather!!

Nothing wrong with that at all! The neighbor here at the lake just mentioned that our weatherman are saying chance of flurries this week!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's a rainy cold morning here but the rain should move out here in another hour or so. Then it will just be cold. They said we may struggle to reach 50 degree's. I'll take it!!! I think it's finally time to break out the sweat shirts. Not much going on here today. Just need to run to the grocery store when it stops raining and then it will be back home to rest this foot. Pretty boring, I have to tell you. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have that same rain here! Ours says rain ending at 3 PM. I am sitting at the lake now listening to the rain hit our awning. Love that sound! Have a good day made!

We are going to have sun and clouds today with temperatures in the upper 60's. It is supposed to be much cooler by the end of next week.
I'm sitting here sipping my green tea. I really want a cup of coffee with pumpkin spice creamer but I need to be good. Waahhh!
I need to go to Rite Aid, the pet store and then food shopping today. I went to do some laundry this morning and my dryer isn't working. My husband took it apart and is going to try and pick up a part for it. I'm hoping he fixes it today, I hate when the laundry piles up! Not too much else going on, I think I may call my parents to see if they want to get together later.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Good morning MMC as I mentioned above I am sitting at the trailer listening to it rain! My hubby and a lot of the neighbors went for breakfast up the street! One of our neighbors couldn't come up until this morning so she brought Cinnabon's with her – I had a half a Cinnabon earlier and it was delicious! Coffee is extra tasty today too! I am actually loving this cold and rainy weather today! Sitting here working on my Christmas Afghan and watching Golden girls! (Lol)

We don't have any major plans for today other than going with the neighbors at 3:30 to watch the Buckeye game! Then we are coming back here to the marina for a cook out! Everyone wants to clean the meat out of their freezers before the end of the season!

I hope your dryer is an easy fix! Have you tried pumpkin flavored coffee? You get the pumpkin flavor without the fat and calories of creamer. Just a thought! I can't give up my coffee… I tried to replace it with tea – it's just not the same! :-?

Happy weekend folks. Weather is a bit damp and miserable over here, but I'm making Burgers and chips for tea, followed by a sponge pudding and custard. Plenty to look forward to cheesy. Contemplating buying the Mary J. Blige Christmas Album, anyone heard it yet?
