Dear Snowflake22, that is one lovely photo, I luv it where did you find it? I would luv to have that as wallpaper for my computer!
I'm happy to hear that your husband will be having dinner awaiting your arrival home......! What a great time we live in.....where men love to cook, and contribute to the family! I'm happy for you!
Have a great day.........and eat all your dinner!

My signature photo is a painting which I did back in the 90's, and later used to make Holiday Cards.

Over at my in-laws and this little sweetie jumped in my lap. Her name is Haley and we are buddies! Don't tell Happy or Holly. :)

That is ONE cute dog, Haley reminds me of a Bichon Frise, 'Cosette' which is my favourite type of dog. She was so cuddly, and she loved licking my toes!
Thanks for posting and allowing me to remember 'Cosette', she just passed away back in August, her owners, informed me via letter. I did pet-sitting and home sitting services back when I resided in Sarasota, Florida in 2003-07.
Have a blessed day!

Haley looks SO much like a toy poodle we had when I was about three years old. His name was Peppie---I still remember him. Give Haley a treat from me!

Good morning to everyone!

It's the Sunday before Halloween ... just over two weeks before the Season begins ... up to my elbows in playlists for Kringle Radio ... time is speeding by already! It's exhilarating and frightening at the same time. There never seems to be quite enough time to savor all the sweetness of the Season while it's here.

Many of the employees at my office have young children, so on Halloween afternoon the office is holding a costume parade and desk-to-desk trick-or-treat for the kiddies. It should be a lot of fun seeing the costumes and handing out candy! I'll be handing out candy here at home, too, that evening, but we usually don't get many doorbells.

That sounds like fun! I loved when my kids were younger and were in costume parades every year at their school. They are all so cute!

I'm having one of those days where I don't feel like getting started on my work. I just can't seem to get motivated enough to actually sit still and type a paper. I cannot wait to graduate in December! I am so tired of doing petty papers.

I've decided not to go to my actual graduation. It is so late this year. Most of my friends will graduate on December 13th and I will not be graduating until December 20th. I don't want to risk getting sick right before Christmas, nor do I want to risk driving in bad weather. It's always unpredictable as to whether or not there will be a big snow. Plus, that's the time of year where everyone is sick with colds or viruses. I don't want my family to sit there in a crowd with people sneezing or coughing around them. Everyone would be sick for Christmas!

I guess I'm going to force myself to start writing. When I need a break I will pop back in!

I'm so excited to be back. Missed you all!
I have days like that too where I just cannot seem to get going!

you should never allow fear of what might happen cheat you out a memorable event,, you worked hard to graduate. I have wonderful pictures of my girls at their college graduations. I was so proud to watch them receive their hard earned diplomas. you and your family so deserve this honor!

I am a little apprehensive about Halloween this year due to the fact that since we moved to our house 14 years ago, we have always decorated our house (big time) on the outside as well as the inside. Since we had our home previously up for sale at the end of June thru end of September, I packed all the outside Halloween decoration up and placed them in storage.

So, I'm expecting to be asked over and over again, "what's going on", "where's your decorations", why are you moving", etc, etc, etc... Especially since our home will be re-listed on Halloween Day with the new sign going up...

Usually, we go thru about anywhere's from 25-30 pounds of candy each year, so we'll just have to wait and see if there will be less Trick-or-Treaters since there will be no decorations outside...
it will be different for those who know you, but just explain what you said here, they will understand, especially when it comes with a treat!

so many choices, isn't wonderful! Personally I like a mini van, they have fold down seats so you can have your choice of how many to seat. Lots of room if you have cargo to pick up and still lets you sit higher than cars to give a better view.
we are having sausages (Oktoberfest) for lunch, with sauerkraut of course!

I had a mini van when the kids were small. Then I got a truck and I have been driving one for years and years. I loved the mini van though, and so did the kids.

watching Harry Potter right now

Good film choice! Lithuanian TV channels normally show them in period between Christmas and New Year and I'm always looking forward to watching the movies. :]

I don't know why I bother buying so many cat toys. All I have to do is throw a bag on the floor and they entertain themselves for hours. Any kind of bag. They get right inside of it. Crazy cats!

Haha, that's funny! ;D My dog likes having dozen of toys because he's affraid of plastic bags.

This has been one of those days were it was either raining or snowing. Going down to -1c (30f) so it will most likely be snowing again tonight.
There is a big window across the front wall at the store so we can look outside all day while I work, love it! But as I watched the snow fall all I could think of was different Christmas carols. I wish I would have put on my music.

That's cute! Watching snowfall also makes me think of Holiday music and burning of scented candles. <3

Very bad day at work, I am expecting more of the same tomorrow.

Such days happen sometimes but there are plenty of good days ahead. :]

Good morning from an increasingly cold Stockholm, Sweden.
Slowly planning to start my Christmas shopping tomorrow, so sitting with a cup of coffee putting this year's list together.

Yay for the expanding European community in MMC! ^^ Making Christmas list and having coffee is such a relaxing way to spend a weekend. Hope you have Holiday music on too. ;]

Good afternoon!
So tired today.... Been up since 5:30
(we turned back the clock this morning...)

I have wrapped advent calendar gifts
Done with 72 gifts, and 72 more to go!

Also baked bread and carrot cake...
While listening to Christmas radio in my kitchen!

My daughter started taking meds (chemotherapy) this weekend
because of her arthritis...
She's feeling nauseous, but other than that she's fine
Im so proud of her!

Well, I have to go back to my chores...
I'll be back later this evening!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

I send lots of hugs and best wishes to your little daughter.

Best of luck with your dissertation writing! October is almost over and December is approaching quite quickly so stay strong because not much is left.

It's been such a weird day. I spent it watching many 'White Collar' episodes (love that TV show!) and feel asleep at 6pm. No idea how that happened. It's now 11pm and I'm fully awake. We changed our time from summer to winter one and it's know gonna be very weird for next couple of days as it will get dark even earlier according to new time. I don't see the point of turning the clocks back and forward several times a year but oh well. Good night to all (and good night - again - to me) as I will try to go back to sleep.

All you have to do is click on the person's screen name and go to their public profile. Then go to the snow battle tab and click on the snowball on their page to throw it at them.
