Hope you can find a car soon so you don't have to deal with it anymore!!!
We just returned from Chico. The brakes on the Honda had to be fixed, and we decided to have dinner at a restaurant we like. I have begun a new book on my Nook that really started out with a bang! Talk about attention-getting!!! It's called Scare Me by Richard Palmer. I bought several other books at Barnes and Noble and Costco: three cookbooks (plus my new Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays that arrived in the mail), Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosh (based on the anecdotes from her blog, HyperboleandaHalf.blogspot.com), Born to Run by Christopher McDougall, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. Born to Run is about the Tarahumara Indians who have "honed the ability to run hundreds of miles without rest or injury." The Devil in the White City is based on the "true story of two men--the brilliant architect behind the legendary 1893 (Chicago) World's Fair...and the cunning serial killer who used the fair to lure his victims to their death." In The Night Circus, "the circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Reves, and it is only open at night." (It sort of reminds me of Something Wicked This Way Comes.) I can hardly wait to finish one so I can read another! I'll keep you updated as I read. TTYT
I love the smell of cotton, lol. I use a shower gel from Bath & Body that is cotton scented and I loveeee it! Christmas Cookie also sounds awesome....maybe I will go scope out Yankee tomorrow!
If you go check out some of the scents that I mentioned and let me know what you think!
Awww! I am sorry that she ditched you! She'll just have to make it up to you later! Ugh! Sorry you were dragged out to do more car shopping. That would bore me to tears lol. I hope that you enjoyed reading! Good night, sleep well, sweet dreams!
Good night, MMC! I hope that everyone sleeps well and has sweet dreams. You're all in my prayers, as usual! I have to get up relatively early to get ready for my appointment with the cardiologist. It's just a precautionary appointment. My heart rate is always in the 80s or 90s which I understand is pretty high. I'd rather get it checked and see if I need to do anything about it or if all is good. After this appointment, all I have to worry about is getting my stitches out.
I may pop in tomorrow morning before my appointment. If not, talk to you all after! Have a wonderful Wednesday and drive safe to work!
I am up later than I wanted, but I am adding Christmas music to an SD Card to be ready to switch it for the season. That and I forgot that since I ordered the new Straight No Chaser Christmas CD through Amazon, I automatically get the MP3 version sent right to my computer on release day. I listened to it this afternoon, and I like it especially there original take on "Nutcracker."

It is quite funny, it will be the song of the day tomorrow for the members that don't visit this thread.
I am going to try to go to work in the morning, I just hope my back will hold up.
Good night, everyone.
Morning !!! Happy Pines Day and Happy Halloween Eve!
Things went well at the hospital on Monday, in fact better than expected! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
What are you all up to today on the eve of Halloween.
Got to run but I'll pop back later!

I have actually only gone car shopping once with my then husband. All the other vehicles I have owned have been gifts from the Lord, Given to me without ever having to look.I am heading to bed soon. I'm just waiting for my oldest to get in. She was supposed to go shopping with me today but ended up ditching me. She went shopping in the city with a couple of her friends. I don't blame her, I would rather go shopping in the city too. Then my husband dragged me to another car dealer this evening. He's making me crazy, I wish he would make up his mind already! I am exhausted. I'm going to read for a little bit while I wait for my daughter. I hope everyone is well and had a happy Tuesday!
Goodnight and sweet dreams!
