Congrats to the Red Sox and their fans! They are my #2 team. My #1 team is the Pirates and we know how that turned out thanks to the Cardinals. Bitter sports fan over here!

I am super-de-duper excited that the Penguins won against the Bruins tonight! We needed that boost!

It's rainy & cold here. So, a beautiful Fall day!!

About a week ago, on a day off, my managers asked me to come in. They complimented me on my work ethic, enthusiasm, and said a few customers had told them how I had gone out of my way to help them out. That was really nice to hear. Then they went on & said a supervisor/management position was opening up, and recommended me for it. I found out today that I got it!

I am happy, excited, a little nervous, but all in all it's a great opportunity. I am honored that they saw that in me in the month I've been there.

I started training already today, but will be getting more of the management side of things next week. I have to learn the other associates jobs first!

Please say a prayer for me. It's going to be a great, yet challenging couple of months!

This is such wonderful news. Congratulations on a great accomplishment. I will keep you in my prayers, I'm sure you will do a great job.
 
I've decided that my goal this year is to be more festive than ever. I am going to try to make this the best Christmas yet! I want it to be very special regardless since my grandpa is 88. He absolutely loves all of the lights and decorations, so I want him to really enjoy it all this year. I have to try to figure out a gift to get him this year.....he is so hard to buy for!!
 
I wanted to end my night by saying Happy Halloween to all of y'all! I probably won't be around until late tomorrow night, but I hope y'all have a great one (and dry)!

The dry thing isn't going to happen. It's pouring out there right now and the main system isn't even going to get here until tomorrow afternoon.

Good evening,


Awesome night for Red Sox fans, I know I have always dreamed of seeing them win it at Fenway Park. It was their first time winning it at Fenway in 95 years, this is just awesome!!!!!! Let's just hope the partying in Boston doesn't too crazy tonight, they were showing a ton of people on the streets near Fenway as the game was ending.

I made it through most of the day at work with a little pain in the back, but about 15 minutes before the end of my shift my back went into the worst spasm I have ever felt. I could barely walk I was in so much pain. I made it home and laid down. I found my heating pad and have been using it since, it feels better but my back is still really sore and tight. I just want to be able to go trick or treating with my boys tomorrow, I am off so I will be able to rest up a little before then.

I am going to watch a little more of the post game celebrations and head to bed with a smile on my face.
